I didn't care for VZ at all. It just seemed really manipulative and "try-hard" (my new favorite bollyword)
I know I was supposed to care but I've never felt the SRK/Preity pairing so it just seemed like a manufactured love to me.
Those weird tortoiseshell highlights in SRK's hair didn't help either.
DTPH...well...my problem with that one was that Madhuri just looked so damned staid and matronly there was no way that an eminently sensible looking woman who seemed as if she spent her free time cooking for her kids and worrying about their grades was going to sell herself as a dewy-eyed, starry young girl who still dreams of finding her perfect prince.
And SRK, since this was made before his rapid descent into raisinhood, came off as a man with severe mommy issues for chasing her.
I just wanted to scream at him to "STOP! Turn back now or you'll end up piling the boys in the Camry to take them to Kumon before the week is out! You'll never dance again!"
For his sake I hope this JTHJ does well. It'll easily become a hit at least but the bar is set so darned high for SRK---especially for SRK with Yash Chopra that unless this is an ATBB it will read a disappointing farewell to SRK's loverboy days.
And sadly, I'm just not impressed enough to care about seeing it yet, though as the madness ramps up that may change.

yash chopra, give me daag, deewaar, LAMHE, chaandni, SILSILA (yes it didn't do well at boxoffice, but damn those songs and picturisations-MINDBLOWING), kabhi kabhi, trishul, doosra aadmi, ohhh...and many others.

BUT, dil toh paagal, veer zaara, parampara, JUST ABOUT OK. thats it.

as for aditya...DDLJ...CLASSIC...ONE OF THE MOST LOVED MOVIE OF ALLTIME.

but mohabbatien, dhoom, rabb neh bana di jodi...can be now termed as AWFUL.

I loved Veer Zaara! One of the best movies, in my opinion.

I feel like JTHJ is being over-hyped, so I'm not going to hold high expectations...

I did for Mausam and it didn't turn out as great as I wished! 🥺 (The trailers were amazing but the movie was ehhh)

Hope this movie does well though!

I'm riding with zilch hopes for JTHJ and watching it for the sake of SRK and somewhat Anushka. Veer Zaara was a good movie but it wasn't one of the best Indian flicks I've seen, yeah I've seen much better romantic flicks than that

Like KSH said, Darr by far is the best Yash Chopra flick till date for me as well

VZ and epic?????? its one of the worst movie from YC.Movie was a hit because of the music and some good acting.

I blame YC and KJo who messed up with great actor like SRK. They made SRK use bottles of glycerine...they made him
to pause between words so much that you could go for a loo break and you still havent missed anything. SRK became a king of hamming courtesy of chopra and KJo.

I was watching an old SRK movie Chamatkar and he was really good in it.

SRK best romantic movie is Kabhi Haa Kabhi Naa...that is an epic movie.

Jthj will be 100 cr movie...courtesy hiked ticket prices..and 3000 print release

And sadly...it's a tragically under-watched film as well. Most folks don't even know this film exists.
