After her last outing on the big screen in Housefull, Jiah Khan disappeared from the scene. During her long break, she pursued an acting course at a drama school in London and is now back in B-town.
We hear she's inked a deal for three 'high concept economically budgeted' movies. However, she hasn't signed them as Jiah khan, but as Nafisa Khan. Yes, that's her real name which she opted to forsake when Ram Gopal Verma signed her opposite Big B in Nishabd.
Confirming it with TOI she says, "Yes, I had changed my name to Jiah when I was 16. But now I want to be myself, so I am back to my real name. I was always Nafisa Khan. My family and friends call me Nafisa and I am used to it." Thrilled to return to bollywood, she enthuses, "I'm super excited to start work on my next film. My experiences and training back at drama school were very enlightening. I always believe in improving, be it kathak or my acting skills, and would want to experiment more when it comes to work."
