This isn't the first time that the brilliant actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has made a deep impact. In Kabir Khan's New York and Nandita Das' Firaaq, Nawazuddin was singled out by every moviegoer for his resonant portrayals.

He's done it again in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani. But this time Nawazuddin's turn as a volatile intelligence officer has willy-nilly triggered off a corporate war between two production houses in whose next project Nawazuddin plays an important role.

In Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's production ofTalaash, Nawazuddin is cast in the role of middleman who is a prime witness in the murder of a pimp in the red-light area. Nawazuddin claims it's a pivotal role.

But how pivotal can Nawazuddin be in a film that stars Aamir? In Gangs Of Wasseypur, which comes in two parts, Nawazuddin is cast in the pivotal role in Part 2. He plays a role akin to Michael Corleone in The Godfather. Viacom 18 is looking at Gangs Of Wasseypur as Nawazuddin's true launch as a leading man."

The young actor from a village in Uttar Pradesh is only too happy to bask in the sudden attention. As he prepared to leave for Himachal Pradesh for a new film where he plays the lead, Nawazuddin diplomatically endorsed his role in both Talaash and Gangs Of Wasseypur as important. "Although Talaash stars Aamir Saab, I've the other most important role along with Kareena Kapoor. And to share screen space with Aamir Saab was a pleasure. Yes, I'm the central character in Gangs Of Wasseypur. I don't know what plans the producers have for me. But it's a big leap ahead for me. So far my performances have been noticed in small parts. Footage nahin milti. Kahaani has changed that. I am one of the central characters. And I'm delighted to be noticed."

Nawazuddin's parents who are now in Dehradun with his brothers saw Kahaani in the small city. "My Ammi was just happy to see me in dapper clothes for a change. For too long she would complain I was always being cast as street-level characters. I think she would also be very pleased to see in Gangs Of Wasseypur where I'm again dressed to kill."

i guess we all know when it comes to star-power kat is equally strong, infact stronger! but yeah acting wise she still has a long way to go. Kareena im sure would be very serious about her roles now post ra-one criticism, She has heroine and talaash and i am sure both have her in very pivotal roles. I think her role in talaash would be stronger than rani's!

I'm tired of it too. But the mods arent taking any steps to ensure that it doesnt happen. Its kinda disappointing really.
They know the inevitable, yet they do nothing about it. I mean NOTHING. For the past 3 years.

I think its a fact that ignoring becomes all but impossible if two people are in the same room. There's a reason people avoid running into each other. Exes avoid bumping into each other. In real life, you have restraining orders. You know why? Its HUMAN NATURE that if the person is physically around, ignoring becomes a bit difficult.

But here on IF, there is no control or regulation. But the mods are very good about quoting the rules. Oh yes. But only in their own convenience. They'll quote the rules that are convenient. Will ignore the ones about celeb bashign coz they know nobody follows that. 😆

Then they'll push the "we told you to ignore each other" but where is that rule? You wanna follow IF rules, fine, lets see where that is in the IF bible. Coz I mean, whenever I recommend completely avoiding each other, they throw in rules that say, "Well the rules say blah blah blah", well ok, does the IF bible also ask certain members to avoid each other? Now i"m just confused coz there's no consistency. 😭

I'm all for avoiding someone and their topics. You know why? Coz its the mature thing to do. And I'm sure the mods have the power to enforce it IF THEY WANTED TO. The mods are in no mood to enforce it though. So...too bad. Ignoring doesnt work one way you know Enycedoll. It has to be an effort that's taken from both sides. You cant enter the same room, buzz around inciting response and then expect ignoring.

Anyone is most welcome to glo back google his articles about

Kapoor and find ONE critical article.

In fact he is so badly slammed by serious movie buffs, hahahaha.

The fact that Priyanka and Katrina and neither ANYONE of the

new lot (except Rakhi Sawant) do not hire kadka PR people

like Jha by greasing their palms for a fawning writeup tells

the whole story.

THEY DONT NEED IT. They get movies irrespective.

As for acting, kapoor may be hv been good in JWM where she

plays something close to her brash self, just go and see

Mujhse Dosti karoge, Aitraaz, Bewafa to see 'acting'. I mean

Parineeti was like thousand times better in her debut than

kapoor. difference is, parineeti doesnt come from film family,

neither does she have or need or want to have PR write ups.

You think Jha hypnotized Nawazzudin to give that statement? Or you think Nawazzudin is lying? Jha can write sickening articles. Jha might even alter a quote somewhere. Add a word in or two. But Jha CANNOT make up quotes.

ANd you have to be kidding yourself if you think Rohini Iyer has all the time in the world to get OTHER ARTISTS to give statements for Kareena. She has enough celebs on her hand, including Viyda, Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor, Saif, Akshay, Preity, Ranbir.

Yes, I'm talking about Kareena's PR. Rohini Iyer. She's NOT exclusive

I have no problems discussing with you Pakeezah, even if we dont agree. Even if we are on opposite ends. I have no problems discussing with anyone.

But there's some I just cannot handle. The history is too long and my head hurts.
I'm not asking with anybody else. But these is a special exception here. The mods have also suggested this many times. Only with ONE member.

Ya after all that ruckus about Satyagarh and a 'source' releasing a statement that

kapoor is in it, and then Jha coming out and denying it.

and Rohit shetty coming out and clarifyng who got paid highest for Golmaal, 4 crores

for Ajay when kapoors PR went to town saying she charged 10 crores. LOL!

You ignored the Talaash article again. Why?

You think Nawazuddin is lying? Or he's drunk when he gave that statement? You take Subhash K Jha seriously when he quotes Prakash Jha, but you dont take him seriously here? Why? Coz this one actually has a statement form one of the cast members that says that Kareena has the most important role?
