It is difficult to say who is on the top..I always felt it was katrina and now Vidya..Kat has had the hits, and the most interesting part is the movies worked just because of KAt being part of these movies..for instance, MBKD was a hit mainly because of Kat..any other actress in her place and the movie would had flopped big time! Yes, Kat's name sells more than Kareena or PC!! The same cannot be said about Kareena..yes she had some big blockbusters like 3 idiots, golmaal and bodyguard, but replace her with any other actress in these movies and the movies would had still worked! I am sure Heroine might change that and she establish herself as a marketable actress!

true that! With MBKD kat has proved that she is capable of giving hits on her own so yes in terms of box office she is in her own league,

People often forget to state NEW YORK and completely ignore it. Some say MBKD worked coz of masala where as EMAET couldnt get same success as it had dull music etc but they completely avoid new york which had dull music, little hype, no stars except for katrina and a very dark theme yet it did wonders at box-office, Got to credit her star power there, Her movies work because of her, she is the crowd puller and even if its an item song (chikni chameli) she is promoted more than the lead actress of the movie in it as she sells.

Completely agree, this will be Katrina's year with Kareena not far behind as Heroine looks really promising.

Priyanka, there was a time she was a threat but lately her career has been going downhill with poor choice in films and I doubt her music career will be of help.

I dont think its realistic anymore to club Kareena Kapoor with Katrina and Sonakshi and

Priyanka and Deepika and now of course Parineeti.

No matter how well Heroine does, its not gonna get her the roles suited for Sonakshi

Katrina Priyanka. She will have to look for scripts which suit her age and lets face it

Vidya will get offered those first because of her ability to deliver hits without stars, in

addition to being a complete orginal (only Tabu can be clubbed with her in terms of

acting and persona) with Vidya also holding the edge because of her ability to exude beauty,feminity and sexuality without putting people off.

Talaash seems to not hv much to offer except for Aamir; it has two heroines and

remember Ameeshas role in Mangal Pandey? Non existent. It just seems like

a movie where u say i acted with Aamir.

And heaven forbid Ash comes into the fray and Kajol because these two are always

producers / distributors darlings.

Anyways k kapoor is getting married shes 31 so now she will obviously have kids;

Saifs already 40 something; who wants their kid to have an old father who wont be

around when the kids are grown and going to get married?

Yes, Saifs production house may have to produce movies for her like Ekta does

for Tushar and Karan may arm wrestle his foundling directors to take her in his movies

but thats not the same as going it on your own steam.

As for Priyanka, she doesnt tom tom her movies Krishh, Barfi altho everyone knows

they are there. They dont exist just on paper in fickle Bollywood. She came out with

a quote on Zanjeer which means she has signed it. Its not some 'source' which

is acting like a spokesperson.

Shes one of the more talented of the actresses,

she looks her best these days and has stayed at the top without any big hero

propping her up. so she will survive and more, whether there are big heroes opp

her or not, anyways Ranbir, Ranveer, Emraan need heroines opposite them and

Priyanka fits the bill. Didnt Ash stay at the top without SRK, Aamir,. Salman or Saif?

Instead of writing her off, I RESPECT this woman who doesnt bow down and kiss

a*ss of the big heroes/producers just for work. To get papers to say she is in the big league.

Anyway Priyanka has never signed trashy movies left and right to be in circulation,

she never did that and now as a topstar she doesnt need to.

Now is Katrinas Sonakshi Priyankas Anushka Deepikas time with parineeti waiting

in the wings.

You're right, Kareena cant be clubbed with em coz she's in a league of her own. Kareena Kapoor is WAYY ahead of em.

Katrina cant be clubbed with em either. Coz she cant act. 😆

Deepika, Sonakshi, Anushka, Parineeta are already leagues ahead of Kat. 😆

Katrina has a huge popularity, more that Bebo so in tha field yes she is dominant

i am huge fan of Pc but yes these days she isn't anymore a threat! She was back when Fashion and Aitraaz released.

Vidya is critically acclaimed actress, so she is kinda a threat to Bebo but is not considered.

In shrt no one is No. 1, with each passing month statistics regarding actress career changes. ! Like come one! Everyone can not be Salman Khan

He's done it again in Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani. But this time Nawazuddin's turn as a volatile intelligence officer has willy-nilly triggered off a corporate war between two production houses in whose next project Nawazuddin plays an important role.

In Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's production ofTalaash, Nawazuddin is cast in the role of middleman who is a prime witness in the murder of a pimp in the red-light area. Nawazuddin claims it's a pivotal role.

But how pivotal can Nawazuddin be in a film that stars Aamir? In Gangs Of Wasseypur, which comes in two parts, Nawazuddin is cast in the pivotal role in Part 2. He plays a role akin to Michael Corleone in The Godfather. Viacom 18 is looking at Gangs Of Wasseypur as Nawazuddin's true launch as a leading man."

The young actor from a village in Uttar Pradesh is only too happy to bask in the sudden attention. As he prepared to leave for Himachal Pradesh for a new film where he plays the lead, Nawazuddin diplomatically endorsed his role in both Talaash and Gangs Of Wasseypur as important. "Although Talaash stars Aamir Saab, I've the other most important role along with Kareena Kapoor. And to share screen space with Aamir Saab was a pleasure. Yes, I'm the central character in Gangs Of Wasseypur. I don't know what plans the producers have for me. But it's a big leap ahead for me. So far my performances have been noticed in small parts. Footage nahin milti. Kahaani has changed that. I am one of the central characters. And I'm delighted to be noticed."

Nawazuddin's parents who are now in Dehradun with his brothers saw Kahaani in the small city. "My Ammi was just happy to see me in dapper clothes for a change. For too long she would complain I was always being cast as street-level characters. I think she would also be very pleased to see in Gangs Of Wasseypur where I'm again dressed to kill."
