Good show. I didn't think I'd watch it but I did. No matter what issues Aamir Khan might have it is good to see him using his fame to make a useful show. The reality is that a show like this would never get any publicity if it wasn't for him. So good on him.

I think I know this case. Read it on a blog by this girl's relative. Have to check.

I'm going to turn a blind eye to his holier-than-thou promotional antics, might catch it on youtube. The truth is awareness needs glamor and fame. It'll get more attention when popular names bring such issues to light.

I beg to differ on the bold part. And the only reason I am saying it is bcoz of Crime Patrol. That show is highly watched. It's trps cross the trps of most serials of ZEE TV, Sony and Star Plus. And it doesnt have any star attraction. I think the reason for that is one, the host.. Anup.. his anchoring is very very good. And one can connect to him well. Also, they dont butcher the stories or show any OTT melo-drama but just whats true and what actually happened. I'm glad the show is succesful.

Still have to watch Aamir's show. Ooh and even to me the doctor's case sounds familiar. I think was shown on Crime Patrol.

That's gross. And the license of the doctors not being cancelled is like a tight slap on the face of the innocent child. The show actually didn't just create awareness about female infanticide but also told about other social probolems this can lead to.I thought that was very good on the part of the show. They needed to show that kurukshetra 3G video(it was funny though😆)...but generally when we are aware about a problem,we have this do not care attitude without realizing that small problem can lead to bigger problems,in this case, the flesh trade in India.

I completely agree. Its good that his fame is being used for a good purpose.I think the show actually creates a forum on the set as well as in our drawing room during the show(if you're watching with your family). And that's kind of good to discuss such serious issues with your mom and dad too :)

The idea is to wake up and smell the shit so that someday, Sunday marks a bright morning for one and all, says Sukanya Verma

on the subject...Women haven't rise up for their rights till date...god forbid they don't, becoz if they did ..that will be the most ugliest form..there will be a flood of killing of male babies...

has anyone read abt that story of that village where only women were allowed to live and no male either could take birth or enter in that...i will discuss it some other day, dats the most scariest story read in the country about the women and their hatred for men.

I didnt think I would watch it. But I had time and I did. And I am glad that I did. The show wasnt really preachy. It was more about creating awareness-about the problem, its implications for now and future, possible solutions and what we can do as citizens as starters. Aamir said he would send an appeal to the Govt of Rajasthan about an expose done on the doctors. I am curious to see if he keeps his word atleast this time. But for now I am glad a celebrity of his stature decided to speak about issues like female feoticide rather than host silly game shows like Dus Ka Dum.

I haven't seen it yet. I am looking forward to and that is the same they do in Crime Patrol. I am glad such shows are coming up now. It was needed. Crime in India is rising too fast and too high. And people still act so careless but hopefully, such shows help in bringing about the needed awareness.

Exactly. But what really bothers me is that women themselves are biased towards their own gender. Why is it so difficult for people to get it through their head that without women/girl you won't have boys either.

SO true Nikki. We have Mother in law's asking their DIL's to have abortion if its a girl child.. how W*Fish is that? Or supporting their husband and son that the DIL shouldn't work. Bleeh. Better stay unmarried than marry in such families.
