I'm an SRK fan, but his 'glory' days are over. It is wiser for him to kick back, relax and focus on experimenting with different things than try and stretch his chocolate heart throb days. But it is ego and desire. Big B also stretched his angry young man way too long.

Anyway, re: the topic:

IMO, he was always a very average talent - his acting talent is at best mediocre, and looks-wise, he is a few notches below even the mediocre level. These days he looks so haggard and jaded; like he is suffering from some kind of terminal illness or something. His acting has got tired and repetitive. And today's audiences are not foolish enough to buy his harlequin lover-boy roles anymore. He has nothing new to offer, and hence is loosing the numero uno place. Rightfully.
