Its not the money stars are worried about..It is their status in the industry..older stars too face the humiliation of playing second fiddle to the lead actors..I remember Rishi Kapoor saying that it was the hardest phase in life..

Jitesh Pillai,tweeted how stars make a fuss when they are asked to give away awards to, not important categories..imagine!!

The seating arrangements ..which table they will be seated at..How big is their makeup van..everything changes when your stocks are going down in the industry..

That is the unkindest cut..not the money or fame..

Many Newbies this year would be hoping to make it to KWK list..It helps..

Kim got married and retired. She even tweeted during the release of her last film that its the end of her terrible film career. 😆

Jugal was supposed to make an animated movie for YRF. Never heard of him since then.

Then its really great that Sridevi and her husband still make it to front row of awards. She has long retired and no one really believes the usual busy with family excuse. Boney isnt an A list producer.

@ Topic - I don't really know if Preity's life has taken a downturn financially🤔 IPL season 5 is slated to start next month and she is making Mega bucks from it😆 She is probably a lot better off financially compared to a lot of actresses even the top ones today😛 But socially though I do feel she is very very isolated🤔 It's just sad the way she has been sidelined from being one of the hottest thing in town to a nobody😳 I guess coming down has never been easy for anyone now has it?

Is she doing well financially? As per reports all IPL franchises apart from KKR and MI are running in loses.

See the yearly net loss or profit are numbers that can played with by the accountants. The more profit you have, the more taxes you will have to pay thus usually the accountant try to show the least amount of profits. Also, you need to keep in mind the owners have to deduct the original cost of the team from all its revenues. For example, if CSK was bought for $150 million it will not show a net profit until its expenses and the original cost have been regained which usually takes a few years because of such high cost. Whatever money the team earns goes straight to its owners so the first few years these owners are simply getting back what they paid for the team in the first place. Also, what matters the most is the value of these franchises. The first 8 teams were bought for a total of $723.9Million [Average of 90.9 Million each team] but in the second aution only TWO teams were bought for $703 million [An average of 351.5 million each team]. So you see Preity is still raking in income from the revenue of KIIP but she also stands to gain a LOT if she were to sell the franchise. The team overall may not be making a net profit overall as its still recovering its initial cost but Preity gets a hefty cheque every year😛

i dont think they got any front row seats..not even a filmfare..neither did they give away the top 3 prizes to anyone..Jitesh loves Sridevi..but not as much as Rekha..she adds glamour..
