you did say that you find it funny that I'm comparing Salman and Vidya because of their different genders. That I simply found sexist, because that implies that women and men act "differently". when we talk about acting, we aren't talking about muscle show, or cleavage show, or wearing chhote kapde, or being shirtless. Not everything about acting is gender-oriented, simple things such as voice modulations, effective facial expressions, body language, timing, are things that both women AND men can do on an equal platform and basis.
Ergo, I don't see anything wrong with saying that Salman is a really bad actor, especially compared to someone like Vidya Balan.
what's with this frequent referring to how "long" people have been in the industry?
Vidya's been in the industry for fewer years, and alraedy, people talk more about her acting than they do about Salman's. how about that?
and about Salman's successes, note that I said "acting failures", as in yes, he has given a number of successful movies, and I admire his ability to connect with the audience, but that doesn't mean I think he's a successful "actor". There is a huge difference.
