It is the roles which make s you popular not the Boxoffice collection.More people watch hit films and if an actor disappoints,it is worse for him/her.

Anushka's BBB made 10 crores less than LVRB.The former made her an instant craze and the latter set her back to where she was.JWM was a semi hit,so were Vidya's earlier films.People are already excited about Kahani,to see Vidya Balan and not its Box-office.

Abhishek's career went downhill after Ravan,not because it was a flop,but because he acted so poorly.Now they just don't want to see him on screen anymore.

Actresses may remain popular after marriage but usually give flops after marriage unless the film is a multi starrer.

Kareena will lose out on some plum projects due to her marriage.A trade analyst already mentioned that her high fees and impending wedding may slow down her career.

Yes they could have given Kareena the popular award and have her and Saif,who actually won,attend the award.But Ranbir and Deepika seemed more exciting to them!

I think the main reason this year was Kareena was busy playing the Pomeranian to Salman and Shah Rukh. Just a cute little fluffy thing that doesn't have much of a significant role

what, other than looking good, did she have to do in either movies anyway?

If she shifts focus from shoving herself down everyone's throats, then she can go back to being the good actress she is, and start getting selective.

^ I remember reading something.. Aamir thought he deserved Best Actor for Joh Jeeta Wohi Sikander but he didn't get it...from then on he stopped attending award shows.

but since then they hardly nominate him and when they do he does not get the award as he does not attend. 3 idiots huge movie, everyone got some recognition or award he lost out.

Even Akshay who I adore and jumped to joy when he got Singh is King, but he turn it down saying Aamir's Ghanji deserve it over his movie lol ( I was mad at Akshay though guy gets an award turns it away) yet he did what he thought was right.

And in the 90's he came out saying the awards bogus and rigged and he does not care on them. Qhn he wion raja hindustanti he did nit go to get the award, because previous times when he thought he should win he did not. he lost to anil etc...

Yes, Akshay was nominated.

No Akshay won star screen awards popular best actor in 2009 singh is king. But rejected it saying Aamir deserve it. I was using example. But anyhow, point is the awards in general have snubbed him. Other than the popular ones, he does go to get the non popular unknown ones as he seems them worthy. or tries to get the oscars.

I was talking on awards in general. 😆😆 no he not won them thst I know. I know most everythng on Akshay😉😆

Kareena's career soon will be over bcz she didnt do much of movies which r known by her name in past only those heroines were in demand even after marriage who did some good work during their career ...there were many movies which r known by their names...i think Kareena's last movie which wld be known as " Kareena's" movie was JWM ...all these khan movies doesnt make her #1 bcz if this is the case then why not Asin and Kajal agarwal in the league ? an actress becomes # 1 at box office only if a movie works bcz of her or she also contributes along with hero ...

Vidya is ahead of kareena in this matter ...she has so many movies in past known as Vidya's movies ...even if she gets married today ...there will be no affect on Kahaani or the movie offers she is getting now

I feel Kareena's coming in process movies will be her last batch of mainstream movies ...and if she gets married this year then her career is over after this, if she didn't then she may have still 1-2 more years

I think the main reason for the snub is that despite KK's films being ATBB this year she didnt have a meaty role in either of her films. She definitely had a much better role in Golmaal 3 where she was one of the boys. Marriage will definitely slow down Bebo...and in couple of years she will get too busy with family life. But definitely not in 2012. She has lots to look forward to and will go out with a bang.

PS: I just wish people stop blaming SRK when in doubt.

why can't he win ??? if kareena can win Best heroine for her 15 min role in 3I and also for Golmaal , SRK can win every year including for Ra-one then why not Akshay for SIK 😛😆
