SRK or no SRK, 2011 was one of the worst years for Kareena. So far she has done some decent work and some not so decent work. But the former meant some of the nuetral audience liked her.

However in 2011 the 2 roles she appeared in were pathetic, yes agreed they were ATBB but if thats the case then even Asin needs to get nominated. Unfortunately Kareena was nothing more than glam doll in those 2 movies and had very little influence in them being such big blockbusters.

Kareena is going to be busy sitting at home and eating pizzas in 2012, which is rather worrying given how unfit she already looks.

Yash raj new favourite is kat so i guess she was given kareenas place in the FF nominations and the screen awards didnt even nominate sallu despite giving two BBs so kareena had no chance

The only worthwhile thing she did this year was that chammak challo item number...and that performance doesn't merit any awards

I'm glad she didn't get nominated this year...I still don't get how she even got nominated for best actress for Golmaal 3 last year

Kareena got nominated for 3i, because other A listers don't have performances and successful films in their kitty.( indian awards are some how proportional to the success of the movie too to an extent)

but now, times have changed.

thats why kat is not nominated to ZNMD nd nor ASIN for ready or PC for don 2 or nargees for rockstar nor singham actress.

if above are not nominated, what's the fuss about KAREENA?

Forget abt FF, she didnt get nominated in many i guess.
the other main thing is, she said something abt award functions. If u dont agree on awards, then dont expect awards.😆

Thats exactly why i wonder that this was a deliberate snub this year... When she can be nominated for movies like G3 then they would have pushed her nomination for atleast one of her movies this year if they really wanted her like in the past few years...

Looks like either she has rubbed people the wrong way or its just a sign of changing times where they want to phase out the old and bring in the new...

Either way... I am glad looking at the revamp and the slow changes for the better that is happening with the awards...

2 reasons:

She didnt do anythign worth awards last year. Even I was embarassed tweeting on her fanclub that she won Best Actress in Romantic Role for Bodyguard (W*F is that?). So personally, I'd prefer she win no awards rather than these embarassing consolation prizes.

Another reason, she left India a week before New Years and everyone knows shes still not back yet. Her annual break with Saif was particularly long this year. No attendance, no consolation award.

My bet, that if she HAD attended, she woudl ahve won SOME kinda W*F award or something, coz htey always hand those out just to guarantee presence of big stars.

Like she won for the first award show this year.

Either way, this was not her year, and she was only aiming at boxoffice, which she got.

2012 is her year. Heroine, Agent Viond, Talaash.

As for rubbing people hte wrong way...I dont think that's happening yet. She's still at the top. ANd even if Shahrukh was miffed wiht her for Ra.ONe, turns out shes bagged another project opposite him in Chennai Express. So clearly, she hasnt burned bridges with him yet.

She has plenty of support from big producers and directors.

She's in consideration for two of Johar's big projects and Ekta is still trying to work her out for the sequal of Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2. UTV's working with her in two projects as well, she she has the major production houses wrapped around her pinky.
