Rockstar made a grand entry yesterday with high hopes and expectations. And, as predicted, the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer thrilled audiences across India on its opening day, clocking the highest-ever collections for the actor for a solo release. The film is still going strong and its second day is also expected to dazzle at the ticket counter. From north to south, the film has rocked the box office.

In Mumbai, Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines says, "The film had a decent second day at the box office. Rockstar will most certainly wrap up its second day at around Rs 5.5-6 crore in the Mumbai circuit and Rs 12 crore domestically. Sunday is expected t be bigger and better and hopes are high."

In Delh-UP, G D Mehta of Bobby Arts International says, on its second day, the film fared better in Delhi than in UP. "Being a film for the classes, it is doing extraordinarily well in metro cities and A-class centers. The film will generate around Rs 4 crore from our region on its second day and all-India collections will be close to Rs 13 crore. Tomorrow will be a crucial day for the film as its numbers will soar."

In East Punjab, Ashok Sharma of Sunny Moives says the collections of Rockstar today topped those of yesterday. "The film will collect Rs 1.25 crore today in the East Punjab circuit. Sunday's numbers will be even better," Sharma says.

In CP, Sarang Chandak of Shri Rang Films says Rockstar registered a slight drop compared to its first day's collections. "Today will wrap up at around Rs 32 lakh and the film will do much better at the ticket counter tomorrow."

In CI, Ashok Choudhary of Neha Movies says Rockstar did not stir enthusiasm in single-screens on its second day. "Multiplex numbers were a little low for morning shows but were substantial in the noon and evening shows. The film will collect around Rs 30 lakh today. Sunday's numbers will be even better."

In Nizam, Ravi Machchar of Sahyog Films concludes, "Rockstar will manage to close its second day at Rs 11.5-12 crore domestically. In our region, it will close at Rs 70 lakh. Sunday's collections are pegged at Rs 13.5-14 crore."
