None of her contemporaries have good enough acting chops, so I don't think it would be a hindrance to her. BTW, I think Sonam can emote well. It's her dialogue delivery which sucks (and she should learn the tricks of modulating her voice).

What Sonam needs is good luck at the BO. Apparently, that is all what matters these days.

I think she can...yes she may not give the best performance but I loved her in Aisha.

I think she's been given a lot of scope to give a good performance but she falls short. It's disappointing bec. all her films are so hyped up, then the film just fizzles out. That being said...she's gorgeous and has a certain charm. She definitely did improve from TY to Mausam...hope she'll improve more!

I haven't seen Mausam and I haven't read the reviews so I'm not really sure what people thought of her performance. But from all the movies she's done so far she hasn't really impressed me in anything. I've only really liked her in Aisha .. the rest of her roles are quite forgettable.

She looks great in photoshoots and red carpet appearances though!
