Sonam has great beauty and classical looks..she carries off cotumes so beautifully...there is nothing ordinary about her.'Film makers just need to give her the right role ,direction and present her with all her strengths..She will make an everlasting impact...
I guess I understand all the fawning over Anushka,Sonakshi,Asin etc..they are so ordinary..normal like all of us.They are not what celluloid dreams are made of..and will disappear soon..
Sonam if lucky,will get that film which will go on to become a classic and rest will be history...thats what I feel..
i disagree there...sonams had quite a few chances to prove herself under some very substantial roles and capable directors, SLB in saawariya, Rakesh omprakash mehera in Delhi 6 and to an extent, even mausam...
she had an entire film to herself (Aisha) and even then, the supporting cast got more praise than she did
shes been lucky enough to get good roles under the guidance of acclaimed directors...but given the fact that she failed to register a big impact in any of them, her skills are highly questionable.
I dunt really think of it as a "beauty" thing...just because she looks nice in a "Pyaasa" or a "Mughal e azam" photoshoot, dosent necessarily mean she has the skills or the screen presence to pull of either of the roles...
