She can't act but she is pretty. And she has all the right connections

First of all movie success is a TEAM EFFORT, giving her all the credit is not correct at all. I am not denying her fan base but she is not the reason why her movies doing well. All the movies she have done till date are with big actors, saying people come to watch her only is pathetic. Baring Namsate London I don't really remember any movie of hers where she had much to do other then move her butt in songs and standing in corner. Most of her movies are belongs to Male leads.

She is very famous but why is she famous is a question. She really cant act so even calling her an actress is hard to digest for me. I really feel luck is in her favour and that's about it. Let her do a solo movie and then see if she can pull of the hit tag or not, though I am damn sure she wont do a women centric movie.

If she was that powerful then why didn't she saved Yuvraj being flop? so the bottom line is sometimes her luck works and sometimes it does not.

Getting hits after hits wont make her a talented actress, I think people should understand that, Tabu never had many hits nor did Konkona that does make them talentless. So people who think Katrina is number 1 in acting or whatever with her hits are living in their dream world. No one recall her as a good actor nor does anyone takes her seriously as an actress, but people do give her credit being part of hit movies, and that's about it, she wont be getting hits her whole life, after some point she have to realise its her talent which will make people remember her and not her being part of hit movies, She has been in this industry for so many years now and when someone ask anyone to name her memorable performances i always use to read one name Namsate London and now people say Rajneeti, okay two performances in eight long years, what's next? Intelligent audience always remember an actor from their good work (Shabana, Smita, Nasrudin shah etc) and not by their BLOCKBUSTERS the day people will understand this Bollywood will be much more better place.

BEFORE AJAB... no doubt he was a Celebrity, a Actor who was going to be HUGE STAR... but BIG STAR After AJAB...

If Ranbir starred opposite a complete newcomer in APKGK, the film would've done moderately well, if Katrina starred opposite a complete newcomer, it would've tanked... now unless Katrina comes with a newcomer or stars in a solo female role, with no male actors.. and she delivers a hit, I will acknowledge her star power, but for now, it's all bollocks.

Billa: Wake Up Sid was a good movie but I don't think the aam junta likes to watch such movies at a movie theater. BAH was a semi hit so people did go to see it but the movie wasn't good enough for the audience so it didn't do very well.

APKGK was entertaining, it was a rom-com, and had Ranbir and Katrina paired for the first time.

Clearly, they have an opinion we dunt agree with...but tht dosent make them wrong.

I am not blaming anyone but as a Bollywood fan I do wonder sometime why there is so much hype around someone like Katrina, her profession is to ACT, and in that department she is such a big flop, so I am just figuring out what is so good about her when she clearly not doing justice to her profession as actress.

Not only her but the kind of movies which are being big at the BO these days, some of the cringe worthy movies with stupid comedy antics and double meaning jokes are getting good BO figures, the fan in me do wonder what the heck is wrong with the general audience. Sorry but I cant help it.

Ranbir was huge even before APKGK, especially amongst the young girls.

Here, we are discussing only 1 Movie - APKGK... whose BOX OFFICE Result has come... so i am giving my opinion as what were the STARS STATUS Before and After that movie...

you declared that Katrina was solely responsible for APKGK, if that is the case.. then the film would've been equally as successul with any other actor, I asked you if the film would be as successful if it starred Upen Patel, and you said NO... so you cannot give sole credit for the hit to Katrina.
