I am not blaming anyone but as a Bollywood fan I do wonder sometime why there is so much hype around someone like Katrina, her profession is to ACT, and in that department she is such a big flop, so I am just figuring out what is so good about her when she clearly not doing justice to her profession as actress.

Not only her but the kind of movies which are being big at the BO these days, some of the cringe worthy movies with stupid comedy antics and double meaning jokes are getting good BO figures, the fan in me do wonder what the heck is wrong with the general audience. Sorry but I cant help it.

Please do give a look at the kind of movies she have done in past eight years she has been a girl in arms of male leads, She does not do these acting oriented movies where people sit and judge her talent she is mostly a eye candy which people enjoy. So I will still say majority of people do not take her seriously as actress, but despite that she is in hype. So good for her, I only disagree when some people make her sound as some legendary actress just because she have hits.

So I don't agree with the fact that kat acts with people who is successful at BO, because one ranbir never was succesful before APKGK, too imran is not a big star at BO etither, 3 Neil had no hits before NY plus John only had dostana, 4 if kat only does movies with actors who is succesfull at BO then why on earth did she just sign 2 movies opposite akki, who is one of the most flop actors now, so this excuse that she signs movies with only succesful actors at BO is not true.

Kat was never known to be an actress,forget being known as a legendary one...she was and is, a heroine at the end of the day. So she dosent do deep meaningful cinema with complex layered characters. She does commercial masala potboilers where females have to show more charisma and screen presence than acting, which happens to be her forte. Hence shes doing well because shes focusing on her strengths. I dunt see the need for her to push herself and do "acting" roles because shes happy playing an eye candy and the audience is happy seeing her that way. Sure, all the beauty wont last long, but are the so called talented actresses doing any better? even they get phased out of the industry regardless of their talent once they hit a certain age.

The gal's here to earn money. And shes doing just that.
