Neither Namastey London or APKGK were Katrina's solo films.

You gave credit to Katrina for the box office success of APKGK, and said that Katrina gave Ranbir's first super hit.. by that logic, she should be able to give Upen Patel his first hit as well. If this is not what you're saying, then how can you give credit to Katrina for the success of APKGK?

Secondly, the male actors are all working with new comers, Aamir, SRK, Salman, Ajay, Akshay, Ranbir, Imran.. all of these guys have worked, and are working with new comers, I don't see Katrina, Priyanka or Kareena wanting to work with new comers, they all want to work with the top male stars, whereas the guys are willing to work with new girls, why is that?

Why doesn't Katrina sign any film with new comers?, it's quite simple, it would be a disaster.

Ranbir may have had a few flops before APKGK but that doesn't mean people didn't go to see the movie only for Kat. Ranbir had won all the best debuts that year despite Saawariya flopping. Not only that, someone else mentioned that the off-screen life of Ranbir created lots of buzz too and he's Rishi Kapoor's son. So it's not like Ranbir was a complete outsider and a flop star before APKGK happened. The movie was a rom-com too. Kat was also a part of the success but she wasn't the only reason, is what I am trying to say.

The only time heroines have signed films with complete new comers is when they were struggling to bag roles opposite the big stars, whereas SRK can do a film with a complete newcomer (Anushka) and it becomes a big hit, and Salman can star with Sonakshi Sinha and give the second biggest hit in history... you will never see top actresses signing films with complete new comers.

no matter how many hits she gives she will never be knowns as an ACTRESS PERIOD.
