Day 06 : A film that reminds of somewhere...

'Delhi 6' : Reminds me of our numerous trips to Nai Sadak and Paranthe wali Gali, after bunking our JEE classes. Bunking classes and being grounded, was definitely worth the trips 😳😃

Day 11 - A Film of Your Favorite Actor

Lagaan

There are so many things that I love about Lagaan. Solid script, great presentation, fantastic performances, and Aamir looked really hot in this film too (usually he just looks cute, so finding him hot in any movie instantly becomes one of my favorite films 😆) I love this film a lot and make sure to watch it at least once every month. It had everything going for it and I can always be proud as a fan that my favorite actor was part of a film like Lagaan.

day 19 - a film of your favorite actress

Waheeda Rehman- Rang De Basanti

An actress whose beauty and grace has stood the test of time'. from her debut in CID where she sways to " kahin pe nighaen, kahi poe nishaana" to her sweet moves in "sasural genda phool" from Delhi 6, she has brought a smile to my face and I have always admired her screen presence and her acting prowess'

In one of her more recent movies RDB, the scene where she receives the belongings of her dead son' she seems to falter for a moment and it looks like she will faint, but then she gets a grip on herself, regains composure and goes through the motions with a stoic dignity. I don't think the starlets of today could replicate that one moment on screen even if they attended acting school for a 100 years... lol

Film: Cashback

This is such a great film. I saw it last year after a friend of mine recommended to me. It's like a dramatic, creative, and better version 500 Days of Summer.

Films: The Kids Are Allright, (500) Days of Summer, and Aisha

These three films have the best soundtracks. The Kids are allright and 500 days of summer have mostly all the bands I like.

Aisha was one of the most churned out album of last year. It had everything.

There are quite a few so I would go with a track that I listen to often while writing. Instrumental is soothing and fills the room with tranquility.

Dhobi Ghat (Mumbai Diaries): Gustavo Santaolalla's track was scattered but it did help bring out the unspoken emotions of the characters. Other than that Kiran Rao aptly used Siddheshwari Devi's pani bhare ri kaun albele and Begum Akhtar's ab ke sawan ghar aaja. Here's entire track-
