Khan's can't make or break an actress, sure they can gives you a lot of hits. But that is it? To survive you need to have that extra star quality, to have your own fan base. If you have that it doesn't matter if your movie is a hit of flop! So as an actress you really don't need a Khan to be famous or survive 😃 If you have support of your audience.. fans.. correction... Yeah maybe only... Katrina became famous.. and wellknown. being Salman Khan girlfriend.. but big deal.... but others all made it without Khan's....

Someone made a very valid point that I agree with. That these actress like Aish, Kangana, and Vidya had a moderate success without the khans, but they are not as popular as say PC, Katrina, and Kareena. Am not saying PC, Katrina, and Kat are popular because of the khans..because they are obviously not! PC and bebo are popular because of JWM and Fashion. Both films had no Khan in it! And Katrina, well Katrina is a favorite of the masses...men love her...and she has huge fan following...not because of Salman or any Khan. Her success is because of her fan following. Yes Salman got her into the industry and helped her out in the beg..but like someone mentioned..being a star kid or in Katrina's case...having it easy doesn't help you if you don't have the X factor..eg Junior Bachan!

I still think that Aish was more popular back in the day when she worked with Salman and SRk. And after she stopped working with them, I actually can't remember any of her films that were memorable. Raincoat and such films, don't count... those films are obviously not popular with the audiences. How many actually saw that film? I haven't for sure! These are just her critically acclaimed films. If you measure in terms of boxoffice hits/popularity..don't recall any of her movies after the Khans that were really famous. If she had Robot, than Kareena also had Golmaal 3.
