I dont know why this forum dislikes katrina. I really like Katrina, infact most people love her specially the male audiences, when I ask my dad or my brother whose your favourite heroine they say "Katrina". Katrina has made her presence felt, she has the charisma, she's glamorous & beautiful onscreen.

Well if she could not fit the profile of the character, no need to generalise with a sour grape disposition. PC is a very good actress, but she cannot fit the mould of everything character written, now can she? Could she have done Kareena's role in Omkara with total due and could Kareena have done 7 Khoon Maaf. No, each fits a role and done to their best ability, so generalising is not fair to the person who does get the role.

like someone said, fair skin is initally attractive and makes audience notice you, but afterward if they dont have the audience connectivity they fail.

not just bollywood but all over India if you have light skin people think you're beautiful. I never understood that this is so stupid.
