Well Big B has a thing for it....he has been doing this for a while now. But yes I agree it can be handled better without making a public spectacle out of it.

i duno, this just doesnt make sense to me. i dont know why theyre responding lke this suddenly, ash is sending out letters, AB BABY is tweeting (LOL) and AB SR is blogging. i think if it was Ash alone she wouldve just either ignored it or just left it at a public apology along with a retraction. AB SR is using his power and ego to take it a step further. seriously, cant stand him and his whole humility act.

Exactly. Writing her a letter was just too much.. She could had give her statement in her interview that the news are false, but what was the need to write a letter? It means something is fishy and Ash is hurt by these rumors.

this is the SAME MEDIA that PUBLICIZES them and gets them the crores in their bank accounts, pretty much a love/hate relationship. Invasion of privacy comes with the territory of being a star. All good/evil/bad eyes are on them and they just gotta suck it up because that's what they signed up for. And why create such a hullaboo over something thats COMPLETELY FALSE and FABRICATED according to them? Theyre just inviting more attention to a matter they dont want to discuss, now everyones gonna be whispering under their breaths, oh so WHEN IS SHE GONNA HAVE A BABY if not now? so far the matter has been in the background but thanks to the additional importance/attention given to this matter by the bachchan clan they can def expect for this matter to stay afresh in everyones mind along with questions, which might go on unasked but def on everyones mind for sure.

Do they even realise that they might be putting more pressure on her?

A silly article she might not care but this kind of force from her own family might make her go nuts.

though it is denial it shows how sensitive that topic is to them and yes she will be the one feeling that intensity...

they shud let her make her desicions,fight her battles and support her from behind.

I think the 'letter part' was okay. With all the rumors that the Bachchan Parivar wants Abhi and Ash to have kids , perhaps theres some "pressure" on Aishwarya to clarify that shes not being forced to have children ! Very rarely does she break her silence - This must have upset her a lot.

Cannot say the same about AB's blog though . Abhi had already tweeted about it , Ash had already written so it was unnecessary.

Way to go Big B. Speak up to this stupid media. The media can't write everything they want especially when is not true and it is so personal. It is low to write she can't have childeren in a paper etc and she has disease etc.. The media should leave Aishwarya alone, Abhi and Aishwarya will have their baby when they are ready. I'm also glad that Aishwarya told her story. Most of the time she keep her silence, but this time they are attacking her and her family.

This is so low, like the time they said that Aishwarya was dead.

maybe it was a bit of an over reaction , considering him and ash being in the industry for so long , they should be used to this!but ...I think its good that someone finally is standing up to these dumb media ppl, who ruin ppls lives by writing fake stories!And u guys gotta admit...amithab speaks very well!
