Ash Gets Cracking
15 July 2009

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a woman of surprises. She is known to go to great lengths to equip herself for any role that she takes on. One still remembers her sword fighting scene against Hrithik Roshan in Ashutosh Gowariker's Jodhaa Akbar. She managed to carry it off with magnificent grace, like she does most things in her life.

For her next film Endhiran, where Ash is cast opposite Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, she is believed to have started taking karate lessons so that she can execute some of the action sequences in the film. According to sources, there is a scene in the movie where she is pitted against Rajni and has to fight him. He apparently plays her martial arts teacher in the movie. Knowing the actress, she will be ensure that she executes the scene impeccably. Even in the film Dhoom 2, Ash had some action sequences which she executed with lan. Her streak for perfection will never allow herself to do anything less than her best. Knowing that she will have to stretch herself physically to lend credibility to the role, the actress is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that she puts on a good show against the great Rajnikanth.

this is one thing i hate about bollywood...over the top publicity...and at the end it remains publicity!...shes learning karate and all we'll get to see are a few edited shots, similarly, kajol learned salsa, and what we saw in UMH was NOT salsa! --although ash was good at the sword fighting, which i assume she had to learn because of that Legion movie (dont know name, sorry)

I think Ash has every ability to do any scene without any hindance !! She was and still is one of the best actresses we have in the bollywood. Given us hits !! She has perfected every roll which she got offered !! Only she couldn,t make her name in Hollywood so that is the only minus point !! otherwise Ash is Ash !!
