I watched it this past weekend....was not impressed much and within like 10 minutes of it starting was yawning.....it picked up a bit later on once Neil lands up back in John-Kat's life and all but overall still a pretty substandard product.
*SPOILER*
I personally couldn't get over the WTFness of Katrina KNOWING that her husband was a terrorist and calmly living in denial and telling Neil that she expected that since John never TOLD her he was doing all this, he'd stop doing it randomly one fine day and everything would be just peachy??😕🤔 WTF??????😕😕😕
Neil was veryyyyyyyyy boring! I think that's mainly cuz his CHARACTER was so boring. John was good in his torture scenes....Katrina didn't really register on me much....I didn't think there was much to her role.
I liked Irfan Khan though....enjoyed his quips relatively.
That was the BIGGEST WTF moment for me as well, and at that point, any creditability that the film had built up, was down the drain. I mean, there was absolutely NO justification for that scene. 'Oh, I was hoping he'd quit one day and return to our little world" 🤔Right. And pigs fly.
Neeta and Asood, I disagree and agree with you both. I don't think filmmakers should restrict themselves to regional issues, or those issues that pretain to India only. After all, art should not be limited. But what I do think is that certain directors, who have a proven track record of glossifying sensitive issues, and handling them with immaturity by injected the Bollywood formula, or extreme melodrama, should steer clear from attempting to tackle issues such as terrorism or terminal diseases, a la K-Jo and co. Of course, there's always the benefit of the doubt, but that is an exception rather than a rule. Now, I will leave it at that, mainly because I've already had this discussion with Neets via MSN, and mostly because I'm secretly terrified of her brain, and she would totally own me in an argument. 😆
