And since you brought the change argument in, this is what I'm talking about:
Now that we can put the list out, what will you bring to the table?
I'm ready to give anything to a relationship. As long as I'm not expected to change beyond what my basic nature is. Every relationship needs adjustment and understanding and you have to be ready to do that. But as long as you don't end up changing yourself as the basic person you were, because then you'll be unhappy. Apart form that, anything it takes! I'm always someone who's looking for longevity. I think you must never get into a relationship expecting it to culminate, only, you should know that there is a possibility of culmination
So why let kareena make all these drastic changes, that's my question. Maybe if he had made some changes on hsi part, her changes wouldnt have had to be so drastic. Perhaps they coudl have met somewhere in the middle. But its clear to me he has very strong ideals on how he is and he's not willing ot change, while its obvoius that she did. If he believes that, then why let her change? Adjustment is needed, but its needed from BOTH sides. Not just one.
Kareena personally CHOSE to make those changes. Once again, you don't know whether Shahid forced her to or not, so there's no reason to make conclusions that Shahid is some kind of tyrant, who requires that everyone and everything around him should be according to him. In a relationship, you choose what you're going to be like, what you're going to give, and what you're going to take. Kareena made her choices. Maybe you don't think they were good for her, but that's her prerogative, no? If she didn't think those changes were good for her, she'd have gone back to her old-self. She didn't. However, Shahid and Kareena didn't find themselves on the same page anymore, and they parted ways. To me, it seems like you are trying to shift all the blame that the media/fans lay at Kareena's door [for the break-up] to Shahid's, which is equally wrong. And that is crying wolf about Kareena being the "victim" while you go around painting Shahid in devil's red, along with horns and a cape. Practice what you preach, and if you think media/fans crucify Kareena for everything, don't do the same to Shahid, yourself. Use the same scale of judgement, rather than those adjusted according to your biases and liking.
As always, agree with rhea_6, RiyaK09, Enycedoll and the other voices of reason.
