Freida Pinto is overrated

In slumdog, she was not the main lead, Dev Patel is and yet, she gains much more fame and popularity than him. To me, she didnt make any bombastic appearance in Slumdog. And till today, I really wonder why she has reached the peak.

Looks wise: there are actresses such as Kat, Aish etc who are much more beautiful than she is, yet they dont get to reach where she is now.

Acting skills: I think anyone in Bollywood can carry her role well enough.

I think it is just her lucky stars that the movie, Slumdog, is brought upon by an International platform.

Else, she wont make it big in Bollywood.

She proved that a normal person like her can make it big ... who the "Indians" think is average because she has no Blue eyes or fair skin... as we cant look beyond that for beauty.... if the westerners find her beautiful why is every one cryies foul... I mean when ash and Kat were rated for some 50 something every one went ga ga over that... gosh we Indians cant get over fair skinned ppl... well they are other shades of beauty as well.

and come to her acting skills we have to watch her next two flims ... and she made it where clear in her SDM promotions that the movie was abt the kids and she just played a small role in that.

Frankly....M not pulling anyone down....but I dont find her pretty at all...let alone beautiful....She is very normal !! Tho probably she can carry herself well.....I havent seen any of her public appearances and never heard her speak in any event....as in not caught any of her interviews.....So cant quite comment on those aspects ...!

And I dont see what the fuss is all about...she did nothing extraordianaire for the entire world to fall at her feet suddenly !!

If it was notfor Danny Boyle...The same film wudnt even have got to any award functions within India,forget oscars....

I heard SD was supposed to be only a DVD release.....till someone from FOX was made to see and they decided to go ahead and produce the flick !!

Infact SD didnt get any nominations in Indian award shows ...Not in Filmfare...Not at IIFA !!

Maybe she is veryyyyyyyyyyy Lucky !!

Its a Hollywood movie and thats why it was not nominated 😆 😆 😆

yeah i think she is just in the news a lot and that makes it annoying to see her everywhere but other than that she has luck on her side and i hope she does well in her other movies

ps- i agree with rosenav that the SM movie was about the kids and not really about freida so we have to see how she acts in her other releases
