Aww, Sanam, you always seem to be the most levelheaded person at times. Our childish theatrics must amuse you. And yes, there are double standards, but I do understand where they come from even if I do disagree with them vehemently.😊

yea but who isnt...aishwarya is soo overrated ...deepika is soo over rated...katrina is over rated...so is frieda...its jst that frieda got over rated a bit too early n clearly dere werent many expectations frm her...

Just to speak of her acting abilities...she did not impress me much in slumdog.so yes maybe in those terms shez over rated...but I've seen some of her interviews and like the way she carries herself with no airs whatsoever.I dunno about India but ppl in other countries do find her beautiful and that the reason for her name in the list.

And lucky...well whoever is famous and doing well...its because luck favours them so why not her?

Sanam: It's not about average looking issue with me though, some of my favorite actresses are average lookers for example like konkona sen😊 A person whose talented, it's what I'm a fan of.

But anyways I'm not hating on Freida. I think it's great that she's got all this fame. Luck is truely on her side.

she is overrated cuz of the oscar they got. as for acting she only got 1 movie released let,s see how she does in her another movies.

honestly i don't find her beautifull at all.i heard about her soooooooooooo much and i was really looking forward to see an EXTRA ORDINARY BEAUTY but too bad she was not even close.

exactly, westeners find her stunning and most indians don't seem to understand what westerners see in her. ....we never questioned aish who worked in such C grade movies, and acted horribly to top it all. But indian media went gaga over her so called hollywood venture.

but this girl, who was part of Oscar winning movie...is being termed Overrated . It's not like they gave Oscar to her for her acting in SD. most people found her stunning, and so the doors opened for her. Now let's see where she goes from here.

the word overrating doesnt come to the scene! rating comes only aftr an actor doing atleast 3-4 four films and ppl calling them the best actor or watsoever..

wat the matter can b termed as , is " overhyped "...

hype comes with media , and hype comes with successful films. and i dnt see why freida shud nt b hyped.. her movie SD is one of the most successful films in terms of business world wide and the movie created so much of noise all around!

then offcourse her calm , soothing and refreshing personality and outstanding red-carpet appearances and tv apperances which were effotless (agree with yu aditi...) , adds to the hype..

media hypes those who tastes success early , or those who hv the spark in them , to b media's favourite!

frieda hs got both of these.. so i dnt see , there is anythign wrong abt getting hyped ..

whether dev patel did gr8 or nt is nt the point bt the fact is dev patel doesnt hav the personality or spark like ms freida pinto to be media's fav..

i am happy for her and hope she does well in life!!!
