Since Desu just wrote her love saga for Saif and Kareena, I wanna write about my love for Shahid.

If I had to chose between Shahid and PC, then my answer would be obvious. I'm a bigger fan of Shahid (shock and horror!) I was forced by a couple of cousins to watch Ishq Vishk (I was in India for vacation). This was 2003, so I decided to watch it only because of my cousins. I remember telling them, "Whats with his name? Shaheeeed?" LOL. I watched the movie, and LOVED it. I thought Shaheeed was a very good actor, but still wasnt a fan. So after the movie became a success, I went ballistic and was love-struck. I returned to my country from India, and used to listen to Ishq Vishk's CD like everyday and this all when I was like 12 haha. Then I started reading his interviews and found out more about him, that he is such an humble, spiritual and talented guy. Then he didnt come out with a movie for like 2 years. I never was a Kareena fan, but started accepting her cuz she was with my love, Shahid. Anything for his happiness. I turned into an even crazier fan during his "Dil Maange More" days. Imagine, I was a bigger fan of Shahid during those days, I still love him the same its just that I was young during those days. The fact that he can dance, act and he such an amazing human being makes me love him.

Then again, I was never a PC fan. Unlike Kareena, I havent accepted her cuz of Shahid, but because I genuinely became a fan after Dostana and Fashion, and now I love her so much that I'm gonna be getting my "PC style" haircut soon ;)

Interesting story!

Mine's the opposite. I accepted shahid coz he was with kareena, but I never really "liked" him separately. He is talented though no doubt, but just not my type. I liked their couple while they lasted. But just coz they were happy. Nothing big. I actually started getting tired of their movies towards the end there.

But with saif it was an entirely differnet cast all together. Here was a guy who hooked me onto him czo fo HIM, and not just coz of saifeena. I actually wanna read his itnerviews, coz they intrigue me. I love watching him onscreen. He's so charismatic, such a fine performer, and just he's goofy, and so adorable and intelligent,and warm, and gets along with everyone, and ofcourse, treats kareena like a rose.

The period after a break up is very crucial.So very often people tend to judge you by how you behave during that phase and their perception of you never changes after that.

Pri and Shahid aren't exactly all over each other or doing PDA that it will hurt Hurman in any way.They are keeping silent and that is why people are more open to the idea of them as a couple.

In contrast,Saif and Kareena did the exact opposite.So most ppl felt that they should have kept their romance under wraps for more some more time.

And given Shahid the resepect he deserves as the EX.I mean it looked like Kareena did not give a damn about Shahid's feelings and was flaunting her new love everywhere.

Plus Kareena is too open for her own bad,When she was with Shahid she said that she does not have to change her surname after mrg and now with Saif she is again openly talking about Marriage.

These plus many other reasons is what made people wary about Saif-Bebo.

Whereas,Shahid wantedly or unwantedly dealt with the matter in the right way and came out looking like a decent guy.He waited a long time after his break-up and is now getting into a relationship.So he gets more brownie points there.

It has nothing to do with Hurman being a smaller star.Trust me ,if Shahid would have been in Kareena's position even he would have been subjected to all this.

Rhea, saif and kareena did try to keep it under wraps initially. What happened? THey got snapped by some photogoraphers in a restauraent. Every interview would bug them to tell what the truth is. I think they both just grew sick and tired of it all.

When they came out, from the MOMENT they stepped out, htey were hated. They hadnt even indulged in any PDA. Infact, remember that the first tiem they appeared together, they didnt even look each other's way. Saif was stammering through his statement, lol.

But go to youtube, go anywhere, the comments from day one were negative.

I wouldnt blame saif and kareena for just getting sick of it all. The first time they held hands was at the saawarya premier. The media was already on shahid's side, and he didnt make TOO MUCH of an effort to clear matters up either. The media assumed, he let them assume.

He was in a tough position no doubt, but also the position of power. People would have believed wahtever he said.

If I were kareena, I would expect my ex to be a bit more defensive, you know. She might have been counting on him to clear things up, coz she said when she still hadnt come out with saif, that wait for shahid, he'll clear everything up. All shahid said was that he was single. It didnt really help her much. Maybe she felt let down, who knows.

Ofcousre, all of these are just my assumptions.

Wow..wat a story....I didnt like the shahid-kareena pairing much....but didnt matter soo much...

But yeah...i did like ishq-vishq - the film...it was cute...nd really liked the lead pair....infact even in vivah...!

But i m not a fan of shahid !

But yeah....I dont like PC at all !! dunno y...!

^Well...I guess then people have their own reasons for not liking Saif and Kareena and for liking Shahid.

And that is true by chance if their topic comes up in college everybody have only negative things to say about the Saif and Kareena.I guess one has to take the bad with the good.

i am so tired of this shahid/kareena/saif story and now poor priyanka is also involved....

all this bashing kareena/saif/shahid......

now i really think no bolllywood couple should tell media they are dating or not...everyone should just hide it...keep it as a secret....

btw priyanka NEVER accpeted that she was dating hurman!

Saif's past, Shahid's likeability factor and young fan following. The irresponsibility of the media. According to me, saif and kareena could have helped themsleves out a lil by tuning down the PDA, but they were in a no win situation either way. First people said that they are just in it for lust adn htat they will break up once tashan releases and that saif will dump kareena or she will dump him at any given chance, that they're not serious. So I think they amped up their PDA, as saif said, he wanted to show respect, which is why he talked about her so often and whatnot. But they were written off from the moment they came out. Biases

But dont you agree the scenario is the same? Its the same sitaution. I'm not asking why saif adn kareena were hated upon, I'm merely asking, isnt this the same situation, but handled differently?
