I do not get akshay

I am wondering this akshay is a good actor and has done some good films like waqt etc even though hes done better through 😕comedies...and i was watching a few awards that had been on lately like kids awards they picked and ITAs etc and cannot remeber exactly which ones..however he was going on about how this industry has never given him awards in so many years (i think someone made a post on this a while ago.) now he all this is going on when he finally gets his appreciation hes kind of throwing it in their faces. It is his personal choice but am just saying one minute hes saying that hes not getting anything when he does he does not accept.

Sanjay Dutt after winning one award for Vastav said the same thing. Sunny Deol doesn't attend award functions for the same reason. In fact Dharmendra too never gotten any awards except Life time.

Anil Kapoor too on Sajid's show said that all awards are only given to SRK ina joking manner but that guy speaks the truth. You must watch Anil on Sajid's.

So all that anger had to burst out some day. The generation today might not know the facts.

Now Aamir attends and award function where Akshay Kumar is given an award. 😉

Maya_m Till i came on I-F the only awards i use to watch was zee cines and then i use to be happy when films i liked won 😆 that should say how much i know and take these awards seriously.

I guess you are right in that he was not given awards where it was justified and this time aamir missed out. Their are 100s of actors who missed out thanks for the info on older ones..one i can think of was for vidya i thought she acted really well in bhool bhulaiya yet hardly any nominations.

Think these awards are more entertainment than credibility...now with more films coming out and better quality i think times come to go on actually credibility.

Actually you can compare Akshay to Jeetendra. Jeetendra used to have Superhits and several hits but no awards. In those days awards used to be a bit more serious so serious actors also had chance of winning.

Jeentendra's films were all money spinners but nothing to great to mention. Poor guy! had so many hits and no fan following some what similar to Akshay Kumar.
