I do not get akshay - Page 3

akshay kumar belongs to the aisle where the actors have good looks but no acting skills like jeetendra , rajendra kumar, dharmendra etc etc i think , they should come up with some different category to accomodate these folks, if not popular award?

I'm confused as to why he accepted sabse fav award and didn't accept the popular(viewer's choice) award at star screen! Kind of confusing!!

What does it say about me when Sean Penn and Aamir Khan happen to be my favorites? Whenever I read Sean Penn's interviews, I end up swooning and smiling. No matter what he does he wins me over.
As far as Aamir, he picks and chooses to attend the National Awards or the V. Shantaram Awards. One could say these awards have more credibility. But then the National Awards did award Best Actor to Saif Ali Khan for Hum Tum so they aren't infallible either.
Will Akshay never get his due? I don't know, but I find that he has more charisma than Jeetuji did. He has to go out and work with director he has not worked with and not with Priyadarshan, Vipul Shah, or YRF. But the question is he ready to give up the BO hits. I doubt it, and well his fate is in his hands.

Its definitly not publicity. I think he knew and felt that Aamir deserved it. Even I feel aamir deserves it, who doesnt .. but wasnt this the popular award, i donty get it. was this voted for or a jury based
