| Mumbai is not the best place right now for Adnan Sami and his ailing father. The singer alleged that for the past few months he has been targeted not only by members of the music fraternity but also by goons from a political party. Adnan has been receiving a barrage of threatening calls asking him to leave Mumbai. The singer's father, Arshad Sami Kham Khan, who is in Mumbai from Houston on a vacation, is critically ill and has been admitted to a hospital. Adnan, who moves around with a posse of security guards, is concerned about his and his father's safety. A distraught and harried Adnan said, "My father came to Mumbai from Houston for a holiday when all hell broke loose. He had a relapse of cancer of the pancreas. We had to rush him to the hospital." In the past week Adnan has been doing the rounds of the hospital, barely getting sleep. "Please pray for him," said the musician. |
