Is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan a bad actress?

Not everyone sings praises of the World's most gorgeous woman Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Big B might laud her as the greatest bahu, and the finest actress in Bollywood, but for stand-up comedian Russel Peters, the beauty is only good for laughs.

The Canadian comedian of Indian origin Russel Peters who keeps the world engrossed with his humour is surprisingly not too fond of Bollywood movies. A news daily quotes him as saying, "I wouldn't watch a Bollywood film even if I am at the lowest point of my life. These films have horrible stories and terrible acting. I don't know why your films have singing or dancing every other minute. Either you are telling a story or you are not."

And, then comes a shocker as Russel states Aishwarya as an example of a bad actress. Here it is, from the horses' mouth, "Aishwarya Rai is the biggest example of bad acting. She has proved it time and again how it can do wonders. In Bollywood, people can become superstars just by having a pretty face."

Well, we certainly wish Russel a safe stay in India as he's all set to perform live in Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi this October. (ZEE)

first of all when he doesnot ve an idea or interest in sumfin he has no rite to comment on it..n secondly bad movies exist everywhere dere r many hollywood movies as well which jst simply ve no story...i think bollywood has shown some of the finest original movies n some of dem ve actually been nominated in da oscars so it shows that bollywood has got talent...dese days songs r also being minimum in use n dey r only used when dey r needed..so dis guy really needs to update himself as bollywood is now changed...he is still probably living in 1998 or 99 where v had songs every min...n abt ash well i agree she has performed well in quite a few movies but again since when has she been called as an actress wid great potential..she has jst performed well in 2,3 of all her movies so far...but yes jst coz shez popular overseas doesnot mean shez bollywood's best actress...dis guy really needs to c kajol..rani..kareena..to know how gud actresses bolly is blessed wid..

This guy has never seen any Indian film and he criticizes the indian films just for his own publicity for his show in India.
