I have to admit that some times I can be a big Hypocrate....Last time that is 5 years back when I went to India I saw little girls (age 4-12 yrs old) dancing on the bollywood song - Kaliyon Ka Chacham....... And I turned around and told my husbad "The day my girls do that I will beat the hell out of them"...
SURPRISE......
After 5 years my twin girls who are eight years old dances on :
Talli...Mein Talli ho gayi from Ugly and Pagli
Lucky Boy from BAH
Papu can't dance Sala - from JTJN
have anyone of you guys experienced that.
The Item Songs really works.....

LOL. Yeah, I had the same reaction as you have described at seeing little girls that are like 6 years old dancing to Beedi. But they are catchy aren't they? You can't help but dance sometimes.

Ugghh yes, I went to india and found my 6 year old cousin mimicking the gyrating dance moves. Sorry a little kid should not be dancing like that.
What I find weird is that indians get so riled up about little kisses in movies yet girls with little clothes and nasty dancing come on tv 24/7 and that is okay?

a lot of those kids/teenagers in that boogie woogie show do very vulgar dance moves.. and their dancing and songs etc are very suggestive.. it is just wrong..

i find it extremely distressing

Oh yeas I totally forgot about the Boogie Woogie...
I wonder that do they even know about those pelvic thrust movements and all....
My girls are on the Dharmendra level of dancing so its fine with me...
I keep telling them "Learn good dancing as when you go to India people woul dmake you dance in front of relatives"......
And the I thought of DUS KA DUM..Salman also asked hte same question "How many parenst aske their kids to dance in front of their relatives in India".....SURPRISE : Salman and his brothers also danced for relatives when kids....
