Another eviction, more tears

It was time for yet another eviction. And yes, you guessed it right. It was none other than Deepak Parashar who was shown the door by the voters. Deepak appeared reserved, as if strangely aware of the future.
Anupama burst into tears when she heard of Deepak's eviction.
Anupama and Aryan were once again caught bitching about everyone in the house.
Bigg Boss house has now turned into a mini beauty parlour. Carol was seen giving Anupama a haircut and Anupama returned the favour by colouring Rakhi's hair

The actor says he was misunderstood, leading to his eviction in 'Bigg Boss'.

Deepak Parasher received a lot of flak for being the 'mother hen' in 'Bigg Boss' (Sony).

"I am sorry that they did not understand my affection," is 54 year old Deepak's first reaction after coming out of the house. "It is natural to develop a bond with all in the house after living with them 24X7 for two weeks. I am experiencing mixed feelings - will miss the gang and yet glad to be out. I am naturally very protective by nature," he adds.

Saying that this show reveals one's true nature, Deepak says, "I have not played to the gallery and have just been myself on the show. I have a huge responsibility to my fans and, here in 'Bigg..', you just can't act."

Why did he accept the show? "I wanted to test my resistance levels and learn how I will cope without basic amenities and means of communication. I have cleaned bathrooms, cooked and set cupboards in order after ages. And, I think, I did a very good job but the one lesson I yet have to learn is that even though I gave my 100 per cent love to all of them, there is only that much that they can love you back," quips Deepak.

"I always told everyone that it should be a healthy competition and we should not hit below the belt. As an elder, I felt it was my duty to guide them from being negative," he says of his time in the house.

Commenting on Deepak's ouster, Sony's chief creative head Sandiip Sikcand says, " He is a good natured guy and I think he went wrong in looking after the inmates like he would his own family members and also in trying to bring a sense of discipline into the house. He held the house together by voluntarily doing tedious tasks. It's a game and should have been played like one. But it will now be interesting to see who holds the house together and the ensuing chaos."

'I will go to Maurya Sheraton and take a splendid oil massage, a scrub and eat some great food," says Deepak of his plans, once back home.

Tijori joins Bigg Boss

Given that 'K' queen Ekta Kapoor finally had her way and Salil Ankola is out of Bigg Boss, it was time to find a quick replacement for the cricketer-actor. The contenders for citizenship were Yukta Mookhey, Vivek Mushran, Diana Hayden and Kumar Gaurav - all in desperate need of popular attention. But to add to their woes, we've been told the replacement is none of them. Instead, it is Deepak Tijori! The actor-director, who was reportedly asking for Rs 50 lakh for the adventure, has been retained for half the price. A source tells us he was ecstatic at this development and made calls to all important contacts and bid his wife goodbye. He reached the 'city' at midnight last night. Well, all we can tell the producers of Bigg Boss is to keep this Tijori locked away from Bollywood.

Deepak Parashar is evicted

The ever-so-cool Arshad Warsi returned to the TV screens to host the 2nd eviction night in Bigg Boss. It's time for Bigg Boss - Janta ka Faisla.

The number of entry and exits Bigg Boss has seen just over the past two weeks does not even happen in the traditional Saas Bahu series!

Actually, would we all not want to see Shakti Kapoor inside? Would definitely make an interesting character in the house!

So who is it going to be kicked out today? Deepak, Ravi or Rupali....?

So why Rupali? Well, according to her mum, everyone's opinion is different and everyone looks at her in different light.

Why Deepak? Well, could be that he's really dominating, and disciplined? Too much a father figure?

Well, whether they like it or not, one of them is going to leave the house. And this week, it's going to be DEEPAK PARASHAR!

Yes folks, after a repeat nomination this week, DEEPAK PARASHAR is finally out of the house. Our father figure and foundation of the house has been evicted. What will happen to the house now, no one can tell! Who's going to make the morning tea? Who's going to cook the food. Will they starve? The next few weeks are going to be very entertaining

Its the day of eviction, and the nerves are setting in. Bigg Boss also makes a stark revealation in the day that has the housemates surprised.

Day 14 in the Bigg Boss House

"Kyun aaj kal neend kam khwaab zyada hai..." - Wake up mateys!

Because of the failed weekly task, the housemates did not get any luxury goods, but they got the basic food items which they'll have to cherish like gold dust.

It's the morning, and Bigg Boss calls Ragini into the confession room to find out if she still remembers why she had entered the house in the first place - her secret mission. For those of you that don't know, her mission was to pretend and convince the housemates that she is a South Indian actress Ragini Shetty and very successful. But has she been successful in her job? It seems like a few of them are confused and a few of them do believe her.

But Bigg Boss is giving Ragini a golden opportunity today to prove to the housemates that she is actually a successful actress. How? Through their daily task. Will she do well? Let's see.

Bigg Boss wants to see the talents these people possess, i.e. their acting abilities. They have to pretend they are in a foreign country and their task will begin on the call of Bigg Boss. Indeed, this is a golden opportunity for Ragini to prove her skills to the house!

1pm and the task starts with Ravi auditioning for an Italian film. What a performance! He is truly a good actor.

Amit comes forward to take part in Zorro 3. Not bad Amit!

Rahul Roy comes forward as an Ashiqui star to take over a womans heart! Ashiqui part 2 for him!

Carol's next with her modelling catwalk.

Rakhi Sawant comes forward to do a video album with Janet Jackson. Way to go Rakhi!

The airport authorities have asked Anupama to part with her chocolates. What crap!

Aryan is trying to court an American chick! Good luck Aryan....sorry Anupama!

Kashmira is playing the part of her dead twin sister Kashmira! God, as if one wasn't enough in the house!

Ragini plays the part of an innocent villager. Not bad Ragini, you might just have proved it...

Rupali is bargaining in a foreign store. The store probably shut down after seeing her performance.

I guess you're wondering where our father Deepak is? Well, he does not seem to be feeling well, and has opted out of the task. Bigg Boss is not always harsh, you know.

The housemates now have to award each other a gold medal in order of their performance, and they have to judge each other. Results - Ravi as number 1, and Carol as the last.

Suddenly, Bigg Boss comes online to make a big announcement. "In the midst of all you celebrities, there is one common person who has been in the house since the beginning pretending to be a star. This has all been done on the account of Bigg Boss's demand, and that person is Ragini."

Eventually, Ragini passes her task as she has been put forward before Carol in today's task, i.e. the housemates thought she performed better than Carol. She has successfully completed her task, but only time will tell whether the housemates will accept Ragini in her normal self as Abhi.

Rakhi has not been sleeping well for the past three days and decides to confront Amit with her feelings. She apologies to Amit as she feels she's hurt him, but Amit is cool with it and says it does not bother him. Is this her true self, or just another political game? Only time will tell. It's the night of the eviction, and very soon Bigg Boss will announce who the lone soldier will be that will walk the road alone to the outside world.

Bigg Boss House Mates

Deepak Tijori started his career as a supporting actor in the film Aashiqui (1990), enacting the role of Rahul Roy's friend. Since then he has appeared as a supporting actor in several successful films. We have seen him as Shakti in Dil (1990), Gotya in Sadak (1991), Shekhar Malhotra in Jo jeeta wohi sikandar (1992). Though, he does not have many films to his credit, he has certainly proved that he has great ability as an actor. He has also proved his mettle as a director, producer and a writer helming films like Tom, Dick and Harry (2006) and Fareb (2005).

Disappointed: Deepak Parasher with Carol Gracias in Bigg Boss

A massage followed by a body scrub was topmost on Deepak Parasher's mind as he stepped out of Bigg Boss's house in Karjat. This week's evictee terms his experience in Sony's reality show as an eye-opener and something that he wants to put down on paper. "I have plans to write a book about my experience with Bigg Boss. I know it will take time but there is enough fodder," he says.

You mentioned your first wife and a daughter you've never met on the show.
Yes. There is nothing to hide. In 1984, I met Sarita, a Punjabi girl settled in Malaysia. She was a big fan of mine. Nikah had just been released and those were the heady days of stardom. It was a chat mangni, pat byaah sort of thing.

When she was pregnant, I met with a speedboat accident and injured my foot. It was so bad that I was told I would never be able to walk again. I did not want her to know about this, as I was worried it would affect her delivery.

So I told her I had injured my foot while dancing with a girl. Of course, all kinds of stories had been circulating about me too. So I guess the incident really affected her. She left home with everything and remained incommunicado for a long time.

She phoned me twice in 1988 and 1999 when I lost my parents. The first time when she called she said she was in Singapore and that's when I got to know about my daughter. The next time she called, she said she was in New Zealand. I don't know where they are now. But a child needs both parents, so I hope I meet her someday. I've remarried since. My present wife's name is Neerja.

Your nightgown has become such a talking point!
So the Bigg Boss contestants used to call me Nightiewale Baba, eh? How could they speak so negatively about me? First of all, men don't wear nighties, women do. What I wear is called a kandoora or a jabba (Arab men wear this). I've been wearing them since I first saw them in Dubai in 1986 and I've been getting them from there ever since. They are so comfortable and I'm always wearing them at home, which is why I wore them on the show as well.

Farah Khan loved your style statement.
That's what I have just been told and I think it is really sweet of her to say this. I suggest her husband (Shirish Kunder) try wearing a kandoora too!

Do you think that being yourself has gone against you?
Yes, but why should I become a different person overnight, like the rest of the contestants have done, to remain on Bigg Boss? I have been part of the film industry for 28 years. I have behaved, dressed and done exactly like I do at home. I did not play to the cameras. I used to get up early and cook basic food like rice, dal and sabzi. At that time, most of the others would still be sleeping. I was sad about being nominated for eviction in the first week itself and then again in the second week. I only did what I should have done as the eldest person on the show. I did not hit anyone below the belt or become part of any clique. They thought I was dangerous for them, so they ousted me.

Who will cook for them now?
When your mother passes away, you have to fend for yourself. I guess they will have to do the same now.

Deepak's ouster saddens Farah
An avid watcher of Bigg Boss, Farah Khan was taken aback by Deepak Parasher's exit from the show.

"That's really sad, and it happened just when I went out to buy those hairbands that Deepak wears. I bought three knitted hairbands yesterday. I will not buy the gowns that he wears, but just borrow it from my mom! I will sorely miss Deepak on the show. Who will the contestants bitch about now?"

Kashmira(a) ki kali: Krishna Abhishek with Kashmira

Actress Kashmira Shah, who is currently in Bigg Boss city is dating Govinda's nephew Krishna Abhishek. Apparently, sparks flew between the two when they met on the sets of Pappu Pass Ho Gaya.

Although Kashmira is away on the reality show and Krishna was not reachable, the director of the film S Soni confirmed the news, "Yes it is true that they both were inseparable during the shooting. In fact, her husband used to come on the sets in Jaipur sometimes but we never knew that there was such a huge problem in their life. We later learnt that they have separated. Everyone in the unit was surprised at Kashmira's closeness to Krishna.We did not realise it earlier but when Kashmira demanded that Krishna be shifted to the hotel where she is staying, we were surprised."

The director goes on to lament about how the affair was upsetting the shoot. He says,"After shifting them into a single room, we found them coming late on the sets too. For instance, for the 9 am shift they used to come well past noon. We are not concerned about their togetherness but it's affecting the shoot. I even spoke to Krishna regarding this".

Reportedly, the couple have remained in touch after returning from Jaipur. And talking about the acceptance of the affair, we are told Krishna's father is not impressed with their relationship. "Krishna's father had asked the actor's secretary to convey that to him but he has not heeded the advice." the director quips.

So besotted is Krishna by Kashmira that he is even promoting her aggressively in Bhojpuri cinema.

Bigg Boss evicted Salil Ankola from his house on Thursday. The actor was locked in the Big Boss house in Karjat, as part of the show for almost seven days now. According to the media statement given by the Sony Television, Bigg Boss show format requires participants to commit three months of their time, free from any other obligations to enable them live in the Bigg Boss house. In the light of this requirement all the contracted celebrities were required to assure the channel that they were not committed otherwise during this period. Only on receiving such assurances, were they contracted to be a part of the Bigg Boss show. However the channel was shocked to hear about Salil Ankola's prior commitments which were later confirmed.

Anupama heartbroken!

Poor Anupama, our heart goes out for this lissome lady, who is the cutest one in the show. Her lovey-dovey affair with Aryan is a matter of past now, as she caught him conspiring along with Kashmera (quite a relief for her fans). She is completely heartbroken and was into tears. Well dear, don't worry, Deepak hain na! Deepak Tijori seems to be smitten by her as we heard him crooning, "She is one person I would want to be associated with my whole life." Hmm....now the show is really hotting up.
