Carol Gracias is a real foodie. She may have to befriend chef Aryan Vaid in order to survive in the Bigg Boss house. They seem to have a lot in common. Like him ghosts spook her. She is afraid of darkness particularly in unfamiliar surroundings.

She hates cats, loves dogs, hates being woken up from her beauty sleep, enjoys intellectual discussions, and enjoys her drink and smoke.

Does not mind sharing space and controversies around 'clothes malfunction', but she is very private about her emotions.

She enjoys doing the Sudoku every morning and loves being a winner.

Carol is in it because it's a real break from her hectic schedule and of course the prize money.

She would love to stay with Brad Pitt and Angelina as they are already in India.

She hates people who eat with their mouth open. If she comes across an irritating housemate, she will tell them what irritates her about them.

Roopali Ganguly is a fun person who loves people. She loves singing, playing cards and eating chocolates everyday. She loves animals and feels there should be a law prohibiting people having pets when they do not care for them. In fact, she thinks those who don't like animals are abnormal.

One of her friends, she insists, lives with a ghost! She cannot cook to save her life but is obsessed about cleanliness and believes strongly that all domestic help should be treated well.

Roopali still has no clue why she said yes to the show. She is carrying her clothes, achaar, books and some family pictures.

Roopali would like to stay with Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan at the Bigg Boss house.

She hates people who are rude and throw attitude. If she comes across a very irritating housemate she will either give him a 'Jadoo ki jhappi' or she will adopt 'Gandhigiri'.

Kashmera Shah is an outdoor person. So what is she going to do cooped up inside this mansion? That too without her cats and dog. She is an animal lover and will not entertain a non-animal lover in her space.

She is a cleanliness and control freak. She is scared of ghosts, but loves to scare others too.

A self-made person, she left home when she was barely 16 with just Rs 250 in her pocket. This ex-model and beauty queen has earned well for herself. Her forthcoming film Pappu Pass Ho Gaya is ready for release. It's worth watching how this impulsive spender is going to earn her keep.

Kashmera is in it for the challenge and to conquer her short-tempered nature

She is carrying her clothes, teddy bear, 50 pairs of socks and a picture of lord Ganesha.

Kashmera would love to stay with Hrithik Roshan and Sanjeev Kapoor at the Bigg Boss house.

She hates people who eat with their hand and touch the serving spoons with the same hands.

If she comes across an irritating housemate she will first ignore them, then listen to them and finally, if they still do not stop, then make an attempt to like that person.

Ravi Kisshen, the superstar of Bhojpuri films was better known as the man in Nagma's life until recently. Now he plans to meditate on his past in this three-month break.

This man from Jaunpur, Bihar, is married and is a father of three. Starting his acting career in Ram leelas in his village, he has struggled in Bollywood for 16 years before Bhojpuri films came to his rescue. This believer of Lord Shiva claims to have conversations with him! For a change…he could have conversations with Bobby darling instead.

Ravi is in it because he wants to sleep, rest and wants to spend time with himself.

He is going to carry his perfumes, deos, dehati khana and kurtas.

He hates fanatics, egoistic people and people who put up a pseudo front.

If he comes across an irritating housemate, he will first warn them, and if they persist, he will make their life miserable.

It seems Bigg Boss' 'non-celebrity' daily routine has claimed its first casualty. Deepak has reported sick and requested Bigg Boss that he be allowed bed rest. And it seems that politicking in the girl's room is hotting up, with the rest of the women growing jealous of Carol because of her guy-bonding, and Kashmera and Bobby asking Rakhi not to use vulgar language. 'Girls from good families will avoid you,' they warn her.
And as far as mind games go, there is a clear winner so far. It's Kashmera who has strategically been taking everyone into confidence and bitching about the rest. She told Bobby that the boys actually voted her out and not the girls.
Meanwhile, Ravi Kishen expressed his desire to win a National Award for a Bhojpuri film, and Anupama Verma complimented his Hindi. Not that Verma's Hindi is a standard of reference!

The new week on Big Boss begins with hard earned fruits of labour and games ranging from antakshari to a treasure hunt. Rahul Roy confesses that he has never worked so hard for Rs 2,500 in his life! He, nevertheless, performed reiki for Rakhi—it was not just because the alliteration sounded good, but because he is the new good Samaritan.
Meanwhile, Rakhi carried the good deed forward by giving Ravi a manicure and applying a facemask. Kashmera's '51% single' T-shirt may have given the guys some hope (or woe!), but she continued to crib about the tasks. 'I wish there were mind games instead,' she said.
As the treasure hunt threw up a surprise winner, the bigger revelation was that maybe Rakhi, too, has been smitten by someone. But who?

Sofa, so good: Deepak Tijori on the couch

Looks like Salil Ankola's unceremonious exit from the show will not dampen anyone's spirits too much. Reason? His replacement, Deepak Tijori seems set to ingratiate himself with everyone with his effervescent self.
He walks into the house with tons of lasun chutney and chocolates, and finds himself swamped, starved as everyone is of any outside contact. Everyone descends upon the chocolates, with Kashmeera Shah going so far as to claim that she hates chocolates, but has gone mad because they have come from the world outside. Now that's a side of you we'd like to see more often, Kashmeera!
Deepak also seems to have taken on the mantle of house entertainer for, as soon as he steps in, he tells everyone that it is time to have some fun now that he's here. We sure hope so!! The Oops director lives up to his filmi background by initiating an exciting game of dumb charades amongst the inmates and also teaches them how to play French cricket. Any takers?
The omnipresent Deepak is also told by Bigg Boss to be the fair judge of the circus task. Talk about making quick progress. The bonding between the girls continues as Anupama Verma uses her modeling experience to colour Rakhi Sawant's hair and trim it. Sick of the bitching, girls?

Kashmera's new
By: Vickey Lalwani
November 16, 2006

Last week, Kashmera Shah confessed (in something like a stage whisper) to Rakhi Sawant that she was in love with "Govinda's nephew", on Bigg Boss. Shah went on to say that she'd confessed about her feelings to husband Brad Listermann, with whom she has separated since.

Was Kashmera's confession the real thing, or was it a carefully planned sham to keep interest on the show? Or is it the super-shrewd actress's plan to promote a film she is doing with the man in question? HiTLIST decided to investigate.

Promotional scam?
According to Kashmera, she has been 'secretly' dating Govinda's nephew Abhishek (screen name Krishna), but the couple has made it a point not to be seen at social dos together. So why would she announce 'the secret' on national television that Krishna's her man? A source said, "I think it's all a plan hatched by her to promote their film. Also, since she has separated from her husband, she has nothing to lose."

Silence please!
Krishna is currently shooting in Nepal for a Bhojpuri film. When we called on him, his Man Friday, Shiva said that he was busy on the sets. The news had clearly reached him and he was lying low. Or had he decided to
go along with Kahmera's plan and keep the curiosity alive?

However, we got a different picture when we spoke to Krishna's cousin, Amit Khanna. He was unaware that Kashmera had revealed her love for Krishna on Bigg Boss, but admitted they were in a relationship since six months. "It's been quite some time since he and Kashmera got together. He is a hard-working boy and makes his own decisions. He has had his share of girlfriends, like any normal guy."

What's interesting is that Krishna's relationship with Kashmera probably began before she split with Brad, for she told Rakhi that she had admitted to her husband that she liked Krishna. Amit said, "What! Did she? Sorry, I really don't know the answer to this question."

Krishna made his debut in Yeh Kaisi Mohabbat, which tanked. He had signed up with Govinda for Jahan Jayega Vahan Payega, but the film never saw the light of day

A pparently Deepak Ti- jori was so ecstatic for being chosen to enter the Bigg Boss house that he immediately smsed every journo in town about his latest assignment. We hear Tijori's enthusiasm has not gone down too well with the channel's 'don't tell anybody' dic- tum. While we don't know about the other contestants, three people who we are sure will be happy to welcome him are Rahul Roy whose de- but film Aashiqui had Ti- jori playing his best friend, Rakhi Sawant who played an item song in the director's thriller Khamosh and Kashmira Shah who co-starred with him in Vaastav. It will be interesting now to see the two item girls wooing the actor-director who got them lasun chut- ney and chocolates.

Who should exit Bigg Boss?

November 16, 2006

Deepak Parasher, Roopa Ganguli and Ravi Kishen

The stage is set. It's time for yet another knock out/elimination session!

Bigg Boss, the Sony Entertainment Television's reality show focusing on 13 celebrities spending some 91 days in a room full of cameras, has one contestant quit the show each week based on audience votes.

The first to leave was Bobby Darling, who wanted to stay on as she desperately needed the money for a sex change operation.

This week, there are three contestants in the danger zone -- television actress Roopali Ganguli, Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishen and actor Deepak Parasher, the oldest member of the show.

Who would you like to see out of the show?

Don't restrict yourselves to the three in the danger zone. Your vote could nix the flirty Aryan Vaid, group leader Kashmira Shah, item girl Rakhi Sawant or even new entrant Deepak Tijori.
