Ye ek positive post hai kyunki ismein word positive hai.

Ye utna hi positive hai jitni ki aajkal mereko duniya lagti hai.

Itna samandar mein gehraai tak jakar what I got was Vikas getting so far despite everything and Vikas having it in him to excel outside and inside.

Also this AT and some of the people who could see through blatant partiality is some hope.

Ye meri Vikas ke liye winning speech hai, mera pessimistic dimaag isse jyada positive baatein nahin kar sakta. Filhaal.

Many say BB has always been rigged. For once someone confirm it's really rigged n whatever happened to Vikas initially n now is UNREAL...just rigged. It's inhuman.

Some of the attempted torture techniques- to induce sleep deprivation, to constant flipping of attitude, to psychological verbal manipulation, these are amongst the kinds used in the worst of POW scenarios across the world. To legitimise them, to minimise them as nokjhok, to lend the perpetrator the assurance that she was going right- what are we teaching India? Whether it is man to woman or woman to man, are we trying to tell India that bullying and harassment is okay and legally acceptable?

Against common belief, the rate of male child sexual abuse in India is above that of female child abuse.

But male abuse in any form - sexual or emotional never garners any support or attention, because in a country still haunted by menstruation taboos and virginity and purity fetishes, what does a male child who presumably has nothing to lose, lose through emotional or physical abuse? We have people by the dozen in India who believe a male cannot be raped. If a physically abused female is ostracized and pronounced unfit for marriage, a physically abused male is ostracized as fit to be a woman and hence best shunned altogether by society as he failed the entire patriarchal collective ego. More often than not, it goes unreported.

Unfortunately, the same applies to an emotionally abused male and is not even acknowledged since it questions the virility of the entire gender. And that at the hands of a woman? So, silence is the lone reaction to male abuse and that is what we've been rampantly seeing here as well. Or we have female gender representatives deriving second-hand vengeance and a false sense of collective joy of the abuse, much of the kind of reactions to anti-jewish pogroms.

Add to this, the fact that Vikas is bi-sexual, and it's like he has self-ostracized himself and subjected himself to the homophobic gaze. Even if Vikas' sexuality was unknown, people in the house would still have bullied him for his physique, his looks, his mannerisms, his intelligence- since yes, he is different from the stereotype male and wears his heart on his sleeve, another assumedly female attribute.

Whether rigged or not, this shouldn't have happened and shouldn't be happening on any reality show in the world. It is dastardly and a shame to Indian television. Period.

Edit: Let me add that if Vikas doesn't go legal with all that he has endured within the house against her, I'll be pressed to think rather poorly of him.
