I don't think so Fleur. I feel they wanted to distract people from the favoritism. That's all that weekend was. The need the win to be a surprise and unexpected. Half the country knows that XYZ's gonna be crowned winner, so other fandoms are losing interest. So, what's one weekend of "ignoring" her holiness eh? It'll spice things up and people will start focusing on the other HM and start thinking of him as Agenda winner or whatever.

It was actually a good strategy overall.

#Give him enough boost on the Weekend so he continues to provide TRP.
#Ensure that everytime he is mocked it's telecast and when he fights back it's not.
#All the heavy duty bitching done against him to be aired in the ED only so that in the main episode it looks like he's being unnecessarily moody.

He was stripped off the privacy of his sexuality, his reputation, his mage and the latest addition being the respect of his mom for a shitshow. I donno what else to say.
I only hope he gets on a suing spree after the show and earns millions.

I am waiting to see a certain someone's face when Vikas makes it to top 4.. 😈
