We don't know how she conducts herself in the real world. Maybe she is more assertive outside - but just like every snow-flake, every person is different. We will never be able to understand why she behaves the way she does - maybe she was raised to believe that she needs a strong male presence around her, or maybe she just loves him all that hopelessly (I doubt this)...

she is definitely more affable and a much much better person than him . in fact there is no comparison because she is or was a sensible and smart woman! she bonded so well with so many people she met for the first time she has been a very nice person too! but having attached herself to armaan, she's even feeding on his thoughts and hating the people he hates and getting so negative. when she came she was such a sweet positive person.
