Bigg Boss House can be compared as a behavioral experiment where people are alienated from the world and family members & are forced to live in a created environment with people they have never met or hardly known. With food and sleep deprivation added to it people tend to develop their own defense mechanisms to survive. It becomes a game which tests ones endurance level. Biggest challenge would be to stay calm and not falter in tasks which I think Tanisha has managed very well and in a way sounds emotionally very strong. She has hardly been seen cribbing over family members not visiting her or Kushal deriding her. But in order to survive and strive in game she seems to have developed an unhealthy bond with Arman and it's disconcerting to see her humiliated by the same man she supports. I don't think she is in love with Arman at all and once outside the house she will not display any romantic associations with him. It is just a game strategy but with some genuine emotional connection/devotion/loyalty. However her loyalty to Arman indeed sounds very submissive/pathetic and hence makes her a very unlikely contestant to win or even reach in finals!

This is pure speculation. I suspect Armaan and Tanisha started off by planning to pretend to be a couple, under the principle that any publicity is good publicity. They also possibly genuinely felt they needed each other since all the others in the BB house are "not in their class". Some thing of a siege mentality.

I think this association very quickly turned into a genuine attachment between them, an infatuation. I hesitate to call it love as it will probably die off quickly enough in the real world. Due to Armaan's inherently abusive nature, it has turned into the cringe-fest one watches these days. Tanisha is in his thrall and blind to his faults. Like a classic abuse victim, she sees the "Dr. Jekyll" Armaan, and believes that the "Mr. Hyde" emerges under provocation from others and even herself, and that he can't help himself, and everyone else is at fault.

I doubt very much whether she has been brought up to think a dominant male is required around her. Does not sound like Tanuja. Has this thinking happened on its own - can't say.

I suspect she does have low self-esteem issues. Apart from the body image thing, it can't be easy in an overachieving family such as hers - Shobhana, Nutan, Tanuja, Kajol. Even cousin Mohnish Bahl has carved a niche for himself on TV.

Having said all that, I find it interesting that we are debating this topic about Tanisha, and not Armaan. It is as though, all of us have given up on him as gaya guzra, whereas she can still be redeemed. 😊

She started the TanMan drama to garner screen space as she had learnt from Asif (the new WC at that time) that couples get more screen space. But this drama turned into an obsession for her in no time...😳

@Saloni, I agree that Tanisha is psychologically far stronger than a lot of other contestants in the house and also has a far cleaner conscience than a bunch of other housemates. But I don't think she would have survived this long if the host and the game master played fair...😳She knows that she can get away with anything and her clippings would be selectively edited to portray a much fairer picture...😃

You are right partially on the second para. Yes, BB is playing favourites. But certain objectionable parts of Tanisha's personality HAVE been shown by BB. That is one of the reasons for this thread cuz I am not fond of her, in mild terms, since I don't want fans to get offended. I feel Tanisha would have survived cuz she is pressing the right buttons and is staying in the news. This means trps for the channel.

Tanisha in my opinion is playing a good game she is just using Armaan for footage and when the time is right will explode and bring down Armaan to earth.

This right time is not yet as she wants to make sure certain people have been evicted first. She has given enough footage of Armaan misbehaving with her etc etc.

I have a feeling she will strike Armaan down and win hearts and victory will be sweet .

This has got to be her ultimate game plan.

She was much popular without Armann beside her... specially in the 1st two weeks and if I remember well even the fans of other contestants were praising her...
