Like alot of others on here Didnt expect such a post from u!

Shaz JI, this one incident has been dissected, analysed, discussed and debated so much that I don't think I can add anything further. EVen protagonists have made up between themselves and moved on, just as sensible persons are expected to...

Rather than wasting any more time on I prefer to copy post what I said earlier and that is:

1. Armaan and Elli have had the best of rapport amongst the group. Its visible in their banter shown tonight (Sunday's episode) as well as as confirmed by Pratyusha and others.

2. What Armaan said is condemnable, downright condemnable and if Salman and all in house had taken his class, it would have been perfectly in order.

3. Armaan offered a pretty long apology, and Elli seemed fine with it and hopefully they will move on like any sensible people are supposed to, especially when living in a caged environment together! ...Yeah, I have spent 4 years in an Engineering Hostel and many a times had to kick aside my ego / self respect and make up with the stupidities that my roommate used to do. In one instance, one of them actually stole my Fee money! What to do? Life hai...

4. There is no point in comparing a road side romeo behavior with people who know each other and are playfully bantering all the time. Stupidities, goofups, mistakes...all have their solutions and much as some would want it here, Hanging / Lynching are mercifully, not one of them.

5. Pratyusha said Armaan was joking and Elli whould have either firmly protested or taken it as a joke only...and many members have an issue with that as well. OK...conceded.

Now today on exit, Hazel too said Armaan was her favourite one (obviously, she too would know about this incident and more importantly...HOW ELLI & ARMAAN RESOLVED IT LATER)...!...In this very thread in posts and in Poll, quite a few GIRL MEMBERS too have suggested that it wasn't entirely Armaan's fault and either both Armaan and Elli were at fault or none was...or Armaan alone was!

Now it can't be that:

1. Any girl who doesn't condemn-castigate Armaan is a dumb retard...

2. Any man who says Armaan did stupidity but time to move on is wrong too and I AM ONLY RIGHT!...

...That approach discussion isn't a discussion...its just a MY WAY or HIGHWAY dictat!..

.Sorry...not on!😛

And In all the conversations here I havn't seen anybody address me like that , so I took offense, hope you get from where I come from and rather than finding it amusing. A total internet stranger , stalks my profile , quotes my name in the middle of argument, - not disrespecting but think about this!

Hold your horses.

No one is interested in stalking your profile! If I checked it, its because I miss some of my friends from last season and especially a few of them loved to debate any issue where a hint of gender discrimination / gender inequality was there. Since you landed on this thread, out of curiosity I checked whether you could be one of them!

My Profile says I am based at Russia and time and again complete strangers here send me message like,"So, how is it? Snow all around..."...or other Russia related questions.

Rather than getting paranoid about my 'privacy violation and stalking by strangers', all I need to do is recall that my profile declares to IF Members that I am Russia based.

Yeah, feeling is mutual. I too do not wish to communicate with someone who behaves like you!

Cheers and carry on!

1. No one is saying that a girl who doesn't condemn Armaan is a dumb retard. However, women who support Armaan may not be fully aware of sexual harassment issues.

2. Armaan wasn't just "stupid". Armaan was smart, cognizant, aware of what he was doing and chose to push an issue with Elli. Men who say forget it and move on may not be well aware of some challenges women face in society.

Of course most moral issues are subjective issues and based on situation/perception. However, there still are some objective and universally accepted judgment of right and wrong. There can still be a discussion in such situations. Even if a person has a mental notion of what is right or wrong, there can be a debate on points and counterpoints. A lot of good things in the world happened because someone somewhere went "Hey, this isn't right at all and we ought to do something about it".

Please go back to this thread and some other related topic threads and see what all has been said about Pratyusha...and now will be said about Hazel for saying she liked Armaan in house.

Overwhelming consensus of all those baying for Armaan's blood is, that any girl who chooses to stick her neck out and says..come on...lets move on with it, is someone incapable of appreciating the fierce realities being faced by womanhood, feminism and assaults being faced by it, real or imaginary!

Main post has clicked LIKES of: mamathamukundan, n_shaily, .awesomeness., ManjuBlore, ChillHum, swarima, -Rani, -JungleeBilli-, ushmi, amandaclarke, dipali13, SoPunk, Sanaya.deewani, tweetie19, Vips_, boredsoul, riya_ss9, JasToronto, sirjee, shivani003, sarasingh86, ShivRajput, VerboseG, Malika, sscomp32, Deepika100,

So according to you, all women who clicked here, may not be fully aware of Sexual harassment issues, while you are fully aware of all sexual harassment issues and threat to women of world. How generous and how charming indeed!👏

2. Armaan wasn't just "stupid". Armaan was smart, cognizant, aware of what he was doing and chose to push an issue with Elli. Men who say forget it and move on may not be well aware of some challenges women face in society.

I feel Armaan was plain stupid, whereas you say he was 'smart, cognizant, aware of what he was doing & chose to...", Some more here epitomize Armaan as picture of devil himself and whatever is wrong with men in general (some even said men are worse than dogs, but lets not go there...)

Well, I am a simple Engineering graduate with a Masters in International Business. You, I guess have a Masters in Human Psychology & Behavior research, backed by decades of professional practice that enables you to 'see through' a person in a 5 minute of edited TV clip!

Good...I can only hope of reaching those Masterly levels and still never reach there...alas!
😕

Of course most moral issues are subjective issues and based on situation/perception. However, there still are some objective and universally accepted judgment of right and wrong. There can still be a discussion in such situations. Even if a person has a mental notion of what is right or wrong, there can be a debate on points and counterpoints. A lot of good things in the world happened because someone somewhere went "Hey, this isn't right at all and we ought to do something about it".

Today morning I saw a news report of a woman of UP who was having an affair with some chap and together with him hacked her husband to pieces!

Armaan's one great act of stupidity has made so many of you jump in with 'First Sign of Trouble...the moment a man...blah blah..."! If I were to extend same analogy to this woman and say each time a wife seems upset with you dear husband, its time to wake up and consider that she is having an affair with someone and soon you might get chopped to pieces...

..IT WOULD BE AS ABSURD, as many of the 'firm conclusions & declarations', have been made here about Armaan's stupidity and the threat emanating from it to any female!

Over the top reactions make for fascinating reading, serve very little purpose in life actually!

All the ladies who are talking about Armaan being a "Dick" and saying he is 100% at fault I agree with you. BUT, Ellie is also at fault. You can't ignore that just coz she is a woman. I am a girl too and if I was in Elli's place, I would have forgotten about speaking in hindi and made it clear that I didn't like what he said and he crossed his limits right then. I hate to hear when us ladies say "Just coz we are women, they can't do this and that" Only abala naari does that. If Elli had that big of a problem with that idiot Naag man Why did she NOT RAISE HER VOICE???

THEREFORE, I somewhat Agree with Cruiser. 😊

Thank you Kutegal...! 😛

i just wondering if elli had sportingly taken those bikni ,puppy remarks from arman( as they both were simply bantering with each other), would there have been fuss in this forum then too?.

i think no-- then some members would say we love Arman Elli friendship..😆

others say-- Elli is simply a bitch like Veena..😆
