In the show I think she'll be smug and support her sons only. She's shameless. I don't think she's going to feel bad if sons join Mughals. She'll rationalise it someway, call it unfairness or trickery of JB or destiny and claim her sons are only reacting to "injustice" meted out to them. 🤢 To be honest she seems so chronically sick that she will have no remorse even when standing in Court of God with list of her crimes being read out!

Rana Punja was leader of Bhil tribe. This tribal sardar they are showing now is Rana Punja according to SET website.

Historical accounts say he helped Pratap in battle of Haldighati and Pratap himself had approached him. Whereas this show is showing that Pratap met him earlier.

Title of Rana was conferred on him by Rajput royals of Mewar.

Not good. All Rajputs used to fight each other. And half of them had become man sandbar of Akbar

Rajputs were a un united lot. Amer and jodhpurs joined moguls and most others also. Mevar had a loner battle

- Did Maharana Pratap ever make an effort to unite Rajput kings? Or did he only oppose those who joined Akbar?

He tried but didn't succeed . Rajputs had or rather have ego

- Was Maharana Pratap only concerned about his own kingdom or he was also concerned about the land as a whole which was reeling under Mughal invaders?

Own kingdom in particular but whole land in general. But he didn't own the other land

- What was MP's relationship or POV like towards other kingdoms in India? Didn't he ever think of uniting with others to fight against Mughals? (Say, like kings from Maratha kingdoms?)

No relationship. As I said the greatest undoing of Indian kings was that they fought each other

- What would you call what happened at Haldighati? MP fled. Yet some sites claim this was an indecisive battle. Wasn't it an outright defeat? MP fled...is fleeing from battlefield...bravery? 😕 (I am sorry...I don't mean disrespect to MP! Just asking according to perceptions and rules about wars...)

No I think it was defeat. But no one can question his bravery. Krishna ji ford mathura didn't he? Sometimes fleeing and stocking your forces is more intelligent

- Did Rajputs only defend their own territories? I mean, did they ever try to expand their kingdom by conquering new territories? (Curiosity based question. Seriously.)

- Did MP indeed write a letter on "mitigation of suffering" to Akbar as mentioned on a site?! 😲 What was that? Yielding? Submission? Or asking him to let him be?

What letter? Never heard that

- MP is said to have opposed Rajputs giving their girls to Mughals in marriage. Was it only because he considered Mughals foreign invaders? Or did religion also have a role to play in it?

I guess both reasons

Once again I will make it clear that I am asking only out of curiosity. And already sorry if anything I wrote came across as offensive.
