The end part of Maya and Arjun's relationship would then, in your eyes, perhaps be a guilt trip too? Arjun stays in the relationship out of a sense of obligation (good or bad she's given him riches, and good or bad, he signed up to be her husband,so he has to be with her.)

To your question re Jhanvi and the inspector- something on the lines that I'm after all her mother, don't hurt and make her suffer too much. I said those hurtful words to ensure she felt no reason to live.

@fragrance yes Maya Arjun Sharma was an illusion which I guess I had put that day also.

Isn't it funny that in season 1 Arjun believed that vandana had waited for his mum to die just so that she could take her place...therefore he had hated her for it. But this was a misunderstanding and was not true at all. However, if Arya's baby was alive...he would probably grow up to feel the same way about saanjh and this time there would be no misunderstanding and this would be true.

@beyhadhfan beautiful point you had bought. See the same question I had been asking about Arjun Sharma or Duffer Sharma. Was what Arjun felt as a 6 year old an illusion, was Arjun's choice of Maya wrong. Is Arjun a man whose thoughts and choices are wrong😃.

@factfictionmyth Maya is a woman who has set up F&C. No one can take that credit from her. That was the proof of light in Maya the person. It is a visual proof of her capability. And her salvation is also F&C. F&C is her Ganesha. Just like Ganesha who was made by Parvati alone from the turmeric and sandal from her body, F&C is Maya's blood and sweat. She has to leave all her baggage mostly Arjun and Jhanvi and go to her Ganesha, her salvation, her F&C and learn to be alone with F&C. Light will happen, light has to happen.

Because if Arya baby was there, that child would have gone through the same conflict and the fact is that, the child's mother was completely pushed to insanity and crime by the so called toxic friendship of duffer-dusky who decided to give her crime and death as the reason for their marriage.

Arjun's mother had third stage cancer and Vandana tried to save her. She did everything to save Raksha but she couldnt. Then within 6 months she married Arjun's father and had Ayan immediately. She tells they were only friends and they married for Arjun. With the basic thing itself it looks due to rumours surfacing about their relation Arjun's father married Vandana so that her character assassination doesnt happen in the society.

Maya was also in third stage of mental cancer that needed care. But then noone tried to save her. None kept her secure. she is also pushed to death. Go and die. And Duffer and Dusky has thrown their masks of friendship and are waiting for her death to marry.

@snowwhite thanks for bringing that white dress inside for Saanjh. It connects with certain things. But I want more of the past.There are lot of little little things CVs have put in season 1 and 2 which are adding up now.

@factfictionmyth Samay has to come post Maya Arjun Sharma's death. Then only it will go inline with Samay's prayer. Allow Maya to be mine for once. Maya ko samay mein vileen hona chahiye. That's the point where the illusion of imagined future is lifted and past will face future and future will take down past.

They've never touched upon this point in its entirety, but part of the credit, for setting up F &C, perhaps goes to Maya's grandfather.

The F&C godown existed even in Maya's childhood (the scenes when Ashwin used to punish her show it)

Jhanvi and Maya's grandfather were rich, which is perhaps why her grandfather's will had some condition with Maya for Ashwin.

And Maya asked Rajeev to get the company back for her, which he did.

I'm not saying that Maya may not have taken the company to greater heights (she's definitely intelligent enough to do), but to say she created it from scratch would perhaps be taking away some level of credit from the company's original founders.

The situations are completely different...obviously Arjuns mum was nothing like Maya...but would a child see it like that at the end of the day? ..I believe like Arjun Arya's child would also see saanjh as someone that was trying to take Maya's place. Vandana was not trying to take Rakshas place...but Arjun did not see it like that... and neither would Maya's child if he was alive. Btw Maya had said to jhanvi that she would feel happiness when she would see love for Bhander in Arjuns eyes...
