@aekiel Maya's grandfather was rich and that godown existed, but not sure the company was there to what extend, because in season 1 it was clearly told Maya Mehrotra at the age of 19 has set up F&C and made it successful.
Maya got wealth from her grandfather and yes Rajiv played a key role in getting it from Ashwin. Why I compared F&C to Maya's child is because many entrepreneurs equate their endeavor as their child. If you look that way many employees direct and indirect would have played key role in the success of F&C. Still it is Maya's baby as it ran with Maya's vision.
If you have listened to NRN or Sudha Murthy's speech they always refer Infosys as their baby. Yes Infy had 7 co founders, still a lot of weight is given on the Rs 10k Sudha Murthy gave to NRN to set up the company and NRN is set apart from other founders as it is said that he was visionary. It doesnt mean taking away others contributions, but at any point a visionary is set apart from the rest.
When it come to F&C Maya is also like that. She had vision about that company and she ran it successfully with that vision, till Mr Arjun Sharma came along and Jhanvi asked her to give Arjun a chance.
Normal relations didnt understand her, only F&C understood her and that was why she was living a life with that company somehow fighting her fear of a man called Ashwin and trying to protect her mother from Ashwin.
