She had the grace to admit she was responsible for the death of her grandchild but what of Maya who commits a crime and later justifies her actions? I am not justifying VM but her actions are understandable. You cannot call a person vile for being human and humans err but can the same be said about Maya? Vandana had given Maya the benefit of doubt when she came back from asylum but after being confirmed of her brutally harming her son, would VM be OK? Should she have told Maya you butchered my son but you are pregnant. So all your crimes can be forgiven? VM did not deserve to die. Had VM pushed Maya I would still say she was responsible for the accident but she did not. It was Maya who lost the grip and fell. As for VM making an attempt to kill Maya it was on pure impulse and not a calculated move like Maya's. Maya had falsely accused Ayan of rape. Her son who was about to be married is now behind bars coz of an insane woman. Being a mother it was wrong on VM's part to retaliate? What crime had VM committed that Maya resorted to put Ayan behind bars? Maya had made a deliberate attempt to ruin VM's son's life but had VM deliberately pushed Maya to suffer a miscarriage? How can the two situations be compared even?

It was a traumatic night Saanjh could have been with either Grieving Vandana or Wounded Ayan.

so at the time she did what she could which was best for everyone.

And no amount of carefulness or caution could have stopped Maya

I think it is a established fact that Maya can commit murder in all sorts of situations no matter what the circumstances are.

Ashwin had a gun and she was wearing a heavy lehnga.
Samaya was taller and stronger than her she still managed to manhandle and throw him in the back of her car.

She was 8 months pregnant when she tried to kill Ayan.

Even if Saanjh and Vandana had hired a trained bodyguard to protect themselves Maya would have found a way, because thats the sort of person she is. She thinks it is due to Vandana that Arjun left her and not because of her own sins and hence would have crossed all the limits to avenge her pain.

If Vandana had accepted Maya then Maya would not have killed anyone so now it is Vadnana's 'karma' that she got killed and she deserved it 😕

It was Ayaan's 'karma' that he got jailed and brutally hit by the car because he used bad words and because he instigated so now it is his fault and is bearing the consequences 😕

It was Saanjh's 'karma' that Prem died..it was her fault. 😕

I don't understand one thing...shouldn't punishment be decided as per the mistake

If a man steals say 10 rs. then is it his karma or punishment if he gets hanged for that..will that be fair 😕

If he steals money then he should be in prison for a few days right not get hanged !

Same way if Vandana didn't accept Maya so she deserves death 😕 If Vandana was an orthodox woman so she deserves to die in a box like this 😕

If Ayaan wanted to save his brother and thus instigated Maya so he deserves to be in jail and in hospital and lose his mom 😕

If Saanjh tried to prove Maya wrong and tried to be Arjun's support so it's her fault and punishment that Prem died 😕

So , all these people deserve what all they are going through ?

How is that even fair ?

I completely disagree with those who say that because of their mistakes Maya is doing all this and it is their karma if they are suffering.

I don't understand that few can empathize with Maya on one hand but on the other don't feel empathy for these characters

Yes they are humans and they may have made mistakes but they don't deserve what they have gone through because of Maya.

As I said death sentence for stealing food or 10rs how is that fair ! Punishment should be decided as per the crime.

Well a forum is called a forum coz ppl with opposing views can put forth their arguments for points made by others without being disrespectful. I had no intention of doing that to anyone. But a discussion can go forward only if we exchange our thoughts in a civil manner and I guess my tone was civil.
