Arjun could have shared his feelings with a matured person like Vandana or Saanjh whoever he feels more comfortable. But he told this to Ayaan when he was drunk. That is the point. Maya listens to Arjun when she panics. When she was afraid of taking the test, didn't Arjun convince her to do that? She does everything that Arjun tells her except for leaving him.

It reminds me of that 1990 song O Jaane Jana zara ruk jana, tune mujhe jaana nahin. Sab kuch kehna magar yeh na kehna ke mere peeche aana nahin, Tere peeche aaunga main apna banaunga main jayegi backe kahan Deewana mujsha nahin.

It is my interpretation.😆 Some may think it is wrong but I feel it that way.

Maya is sick and whatever her definition of love is, the exaggeration is mostly because she sees the world differently than normal people. She needed someone more mature than arjun who could lead her to the correct paths. Even if she made arjun her god someday, she was completely wrong in choosing her god. Arjun slowly fell before her so much so that she came to believe that she can control. She's got immense power. Arjun could have made things much more proper. But he mostly acts like a prey rather than a saviour maya needs.

Maya's redemption is way too much needed and yes she needs help from people she loves. But since she's turned so many people against her already, people have forgotten mostly that she's sick. She's become an evil for many. And she herself believes too that she's too capable to need help. Too godly.

See arjun is what mostly responsible for maya extreme behaviour.

If he loved her truly he would have thought ways to solve the problem by hook or crook being with her not try to run away the min he sees the problem.

He actually wanted to leave maya after 1yr in fb as said by him to ayan. Is that the way such matters are dealt ? No.. when u r in relationship & in love u try to solve the situation. But no he's one irresponsible idiot & duffer of highest order.

Coming to people around her... No one is truthful or innocent around her.

Everyone has their own motives and selfishness. Arjun is duffer we know who shud be the first person to tc of her.

Mainly sanjh & VM are flagbearers of hypocrisy.

They preach something and act something.

Just yday if we see from episode sanjh is complaining abt maya being behind arjun all the time & doesn't leave him alone & her frustration was visible. She calls her pagal.

But what did she do all these years & doing now ? She is just behind only arjun & he was her own aim.

Now too her aim is arjun should know maya's sach. What each ? Arjun knows maya more than her.And no friend in real sense wil separate a couple in first place knowing the problem of his marriage they wil try to patch them up & solve them giving ideas.

And VM is another superstitious ignorant lady who was the sole reason of many things happening. Her perceptions lead to so many things.

So the people around her if think in proper way & in right manner leaving away their own perceptions,see from neutral pov then they will understand what's the real maya in maya.

No maya doesn't think herself godly but she doesn't know what's wrong with her & there's no one to put her in right path as of now.

The test was a part of her plan or else she couldn't have charged Ayan so she didn't listen to Arjun but completed her plan, she hits herself despite Arjun asking her not to do that,

Yes, Maya hits herself but Arjun successfully stops her from doing that. I have seen your answers but what I am trying to say is Ayaan is not matured enough and he now regrets that he shared his personal life with him. He has been sharing everything with Saanjh. He could have done this even now.

First thing... Arjun never ever tried from his side to solve the issues of maya or thought abt it.

He doesn't feel any sympathy or thinks even she has some problem that shud be treated with a doctor. He simply says maya doesn't let me eat, drink more than 2pegs etc.

But even his mother bet him and stopped him from drinking Na ?

Arjun when he said I'm gng away packing his suitcase maya listened to him then like a kid saying "il do whatever u say".

See the thing is maya considered arjun as her everything she will go through everything for him & listen to him everything if he says. But he isn't matured enough & a duffer who isn't looking through the situation.

Secondly, it's wrong to share ones marriage life with others is what I feel.

But even though he wants to share, he bitched his wife maya behind her back ! What kind of husband he is?

And what kind of family & friends are they who wants to separate a couple instead of solving their problem & patch them up? No on who wish good for couple does that.

I don't think it's only maya's mistake which made her take extreme decision of keeping tabs on arjun. Even arjun is responsible someway.

I would like to share the complete view I hold of beyhadh.

Maya's major drawbacks are her brutal father, her fragile mother.

But her major up thrust is her tremendous intelligence. People hardly can match her wits.

Arjun is not the main or the only object of maya's story. Maya has a past and some incidents of which we know very little. Like a truth only her parents know. The truth will only add to the human she is, the kind of, the kind of human she may have been forced to become coz of a bad past. So I am not ready to give maya a clean chit by just believing that she harms people who only come between her and arjun. Because that is only an aftereffect of a bigger truth of her life, something that led to her psychosis or increased it day by day.

Arjun could only have been a life changer for an already manipulative maya. And her manipulations are not something she's blamed for. Because she has grown upto them. Her life has not been a normal one. She has known that to survive to parents like these you gotta manipulate maybe. For that, basically she needed treatment which is not clear when she discontinued. Maybe when she got confident that she can handle herself. Because her brain works too fast. And she had learnt to make things to her favour even amongst all odds.

We don't much know why Maya Mehrotra was so afraid of her dad. Given maybe he knew her secrets.

Later she came across arjun, fell for him, got the last card to her confidence, the rival to her only threat ashwin. Maya then got to know only one thing, she wanted arjun by any means. And she got him.

This added to her super confidence. Aswin left her path. Jahnvi lost speech. No threat of her past revelation remained. She believed arjun was the reason she was free now. And since she's got very little emotions since childhood, she put tremendous control on the one emotion she got. Arjun her love. And that control increased day by day.

Now what roles others could have played:

Arjun could've done much. He really could have had he matched her wits. Only someone who can outwit her can bring her to the correct path.

Arjun himself is a wrong choice for maya.

Vandana could've at least kept them at home. All of them unintentionally added to her more manipulations whereas they could have done things in a way that could have made maya less manipulative.

Lastly saanjh. I hold a soft corner for her. She isn't directly connected to maya like arjun or vandana. But she's Arjun's childhood friend and secret admirer. Honestly she had tried her best to move on but couldn't. Honesty she was with maya till the holi day. But I would better not talk about the day because our perceptions would differ. But after she returned and maya met her at a shop, honestly she had no intentions to get into der lives until she sensed something wrong with their marriage. And the rest, Ayaan getting involved and all, I am sorry I find very less fault on Saanjh's part in the whole situation. Saanjh is a very normal individual with normal intelligence. And it is quite hard accepting that the person you could have loved better maybe chose someone over you and is yet not happy, yet chooses to sacrifice his family and friends for the sake of that dangerous love.
