Arjun love for maya not only needs to be true but also he must be strong enough bcoz not only he has to protect himself from maya darkness but also fight that darkness and bring himself and maya to light..

I would put it in a slightly different way. Maya would change and move towards light when she sees Arjun willing to traverse the path of self destruction to save her.

As the Pundit said she would need to find a small spark of light in the darkness that she lives in... and light is such a powerful thing... even a small spark will burn and end the darkness.

She will be forced to find the light only when she is driven to the brink where she would once again be forced to fight for survival. This time not hers... but Arjun's survival.

I agree with you on most of the aspects. Saanjh has nothing materialistic but she has a loving, caring family. Just as you said Maya has everything but it's all materialistic wealth. She has no one who loves her or cares for her with the exception of her mother (who is a very easy-to-influence character as seen) and now, Arjun.

Saanjh and Arjun have reached this point in their friendship where they live at each other's houses for the most time and take each other for granted.

I think taking Maya for granted is the last thing on Arjun's mind, their connection, as you say is/will be deep.

I partly disagree with you last point. Sure, Maya doesn't see Saanjh as a threat but she tries to keep Saanjh as far from Arjun in most cases as a precautionary measure, she knows how strong Arjun and Saanjh's friendship is and is probably wanting to avoid Saanjh getting in her way in the future. I'm not sure what Maya will do once Saanjh tries to become Arjun's love interest, that will be interesting.

Not everything is exclusively black or white, whether it is the characters or their situation.

no one is here is condoning Maya's actions but only analyzing why she does such things. However, just because she is wrong, does not mean other characters are right. Vandana was absolutely rude and thankless to maya both times ,basic courtesy should be given when a guest comes to your home, especially when said guest helped you in such a big way whether you liked or not.

A lot of people admire Saanjh and Arjun's friendship, it is sweet to have a friendship so deep but you know what? they are very dependent on each other- it is a co-dependent relationship. Saanjh drops everything to be with arjun, calls 25 times to wake him up, packs his bags, if he does not take her calls then shows up at his work, lies to her boss to spend time him and I guess even does his shopping. In turn, arjun takes her for granted, she can only be used as long as she allows.so yes symbiotic is the word but is that healthy? with or without maya, this co-dependency would become a parasite eventually. Saanjh's entire world revolves around arjun and his needs, she is obsessed with him as well. If the mothers had any sense, then they would have put a stop to this but they did not because they thought saanjh and arjun will get married in the future but were they fostering a healthy friendship? no.

saanjh is normal but should we normalize all her actions?

On the other hand,Maya and arjun are not in love and most relationships don't start with love. however, they are some genuine feelings involved which are still undefined. Arjun is shallow but not to the point where he will get into relationship because he is starstruck by wealth and luxury. He started to like the vulnerable maya, the one who put her life at stake for him, not her lifestyle or her lavish gifts-so yes I would stay there are honest feelings involved. whether this evolves into true all-consuming love remains to be seen.

I did not say Saanjh is perfect, or that Maya is mental. She's suffering from something that is very much prevalent in the society. Doesn't make her mad, or mental.

I don't understand how people can say Saanjh is normal . That girl seems more obsessed to me with Arjun than Maya . She only wants to be the center of attention in Arjun's life...that day I saw when Maya bailed Ayaan out .. she was so depressed that it was not her who gets to be the hero. Never once did I see she was happy to see Ayan out of jail but only kept on brooding how she lost to Maya's power & money!
If Maya needs treatment for her mental disorder Saanjh needs the treatment too for her obsession with Arjun.

hadh se zyada kuch achha nahi hota pyar bhi nahi ...this line applies to Saanjh too .

Same opinion dear. And ppl ask "why ppl can't stand saanjh". Idk why even they ask such questions bcoz everyone has their own choice of opinion.

Saanjh is too much obsessed with arjun & controls his life like a teacher controlling kid.

She was upset on that day when maya bailed out ayan bcoz she wanted herself to be in Maya's place rather happy bcoz ayan is out from PS.

And her asking qtn ayan if he has done that crime was surprising for me. Bcoz she has known him all her life.

She always wants to be centre of attention in arjun life.

My point exactly! Some people can't be liking Saanjh just like some do not like maya ...what is there to be bothered so much about it ! It's ppls opinions & ppls choices ...not necessarily they have to be the same.
