Agreed. But tomorrow if im having a heartbreak similar to Saanjh's I will not be thankful to God and be like, 'Thank u God, i didnt get my love, atleast I have my family' the moment im hurt. Besides the immediate heartbreak did u see Saanjh blaming God? The immediate blaming God was cause she had full trust on him, that he won't let her feelings down. But she has accepted that Arjun doesn't love her now, that's why she gave ArYa their space and pushed Arjun towards Maya. U cannot compare Saanjh and Maya. Saanjh is Saanjh and Maya is Maya. Saanjh cannot be Maya and vice versa. Ive been saying this since day 1.

Besides, Maya has a different way of dealing with situations, if something is wrong in her life, she will make it right, not caring whether the method adopted by her is right or wrong. Im purposely not commenting on Ashwin here as i want to wait until the past revelation. On the other hand, Saanjh cries and gets upset. Does that mean she is not thankful she has a supportive family? Surely not.

Maya is a mess at this stage, tbh. The reason she is this way is precisely because nobody paid attention to her mental condition, when it was needed.

You know, Maya's supporters don't actually support her actions. we already agreed that she is a mess and she needs help, when did we ever say her actions are okay? only thing is, we want her to get better and lead life normally, not for arjun but for HER. She needs to learn that she won't get anything by manipulations, she needs come out of darkness and get help. at the end, we want her to free herself from her demons, not end up in jail/mental hospital.

Maya is a mess, but still came farther than anyone would expect from her. despite everything, she still managed to build a successful empire, for bringing it to this stage. give her credit where its due.

Saanjh does not deserve heartbreak but she needs to understand that god did not snatch arjun away from her, arjun is still with her but only as a friend. Like she saying "bhagwan ne mari hisse ka pyar maya ko de diya" when was that pyar ever hers? saanjh has a couple of things to learn as well, and that is her character arc, it is journey for her to take. she is not perfect but that is okay because it is what makes her character interesting to watch.

When u struggle for 25yrs of your life without love & care & with a child abuse, then it's confirm u will be effected atleast in some way & half crazy.

But applauds that she's facing her demons & built her career a company with such horrible life.

Maya is a mess but if she gets care & deserved love & a strong person who can handle her & show her colors of life she will become perfect.

The little happiness now she got also has a threat of getting snatched away. It's great that she fights back.

100% right. Its the threat that she fights back. She behaves strangely wth her mom whn she feels ashwin will take away her mom.. Now she is afraid of loosing arjun and is fighting for it.. She has not got any teachings from her parents like saanjh to know how to act in such situations.. So she deals wth it the way she sees fit.. She needs a guide in her life

I beg to differ again. Had Maya been given medical attention early in her life, she wouldn't have been this mess in the first place and would be capable of forming healthy relationships with others, not toxic ones like the one with her mother, and now, with Arjun. And u say she's facing her demons? Nah, she's running away from them. If she was really facing her demons she woyld have consulted a counsellor by now. Instead she chooses to live by her own rules which are dangerous to herself, more importantly than others. She runs away from Ashwin, destroys Arjuns phone coz Saanjh kept calling, and most recently the pandit. Now u may argue that Maya had nothing to do with the pandit's death but my opinion remains that she has some role to play, n I won't explain again why i think so. If we look closely Maya avoids situations which do not cater to her demands. She made Arjun hug her, made Vandana give blessings. Again, such a person needs medical attention and counselling before love, no matter how strong a person is, he will not be able to handle her.

How can when one not sympathize wth maya. She has got betrayal from her own parents. Its the deepest wound one can get. She absolutely deserves a second chance. She deserves to live and live a real life, not just life of emotionless robot...

@pomogranate: you have said it before I could. Saanjh is not from a rich family as far as money is concerned but she was brought up in a happy environment. Maya, on the other hand, has a troubled past and even now she is suffering. She found solace in Arjun when he saved her from Ashwin in the office. No matter however Maya is, she has got every right to live happily. She deserves a second chance. She needs a true love that can help her to overcome her inner monsters. Saanjh can get thousands of Arjuns' as she is in a normal state of mind and probably even better than him who will consider her viewpoint. But as per Maya's state of mind, she managed to get one Arjun. I don't blame Saanjh for complaining to God that her happiness is snatched but she had got plenty of opportunities to confess her feelings for Arjun. But she didn't. She has got every right to love Arjun but she can't expect him to love her back as it is up to Arjun.

Saanj has been brought up in a lovely atmosphere with such loving parents and a brother who loves her a lot. Arjun, on the other hand, felt that his step mom took away his dad from him and being an orphan, that thought kept him away from his family where he only considered his brother his own one.

Maya had very bad parents. A mother who's half insane to tolerate the father and a father who is cruel and selfish. Knowing her parents, her childhood had been the worse of all where she grew up like an orphan again but her father's torture made her even worse.

Now we don't know what's the truth of her past as I did not see Ashwin torturing her before her 9th birthday. All the suspense starts from that day and they are yet to tell us why Ashwin beat her and the mother so much. Of course, Ashwin is cruel but there are many more reasons for her behavior and one's childhood defines what kind of a person they may grow up as.

Due to Arjun feeling the same like Maya (like an orphan), they became close to each other while Saanj had everything in her life but did not get her love as somewhere she failed to understand the real Arjun. She always tried to defend Vandana but never understood her own friend and why he felt like that about his step mother. Saanj, her family and Arjun's family only felt that they are right and Saanj is the best for Arjun but nobody cared what Arjun felt about this and what's best according to him. That's why I don't feel bad for Saanj as she still doesn't understand why Arjun chose Maya over her.

You have nailed the comparisons very well

Maya even though she has everything she has nothing
And even though Saanjh has nothing she has everything because so many people love her

Maya has never gotten love from anyone yet and now that she is getting care and affection from one person, people still don't want her to be happy
Whether it's her own mother even... now that she is beginning a beautiful new phase in life jhanvi has brought another problem into Maya's life
I mean like seriously? What type of mother are you?!!!

And Saanjh doesn't realize that sometimes relationships have limits and it's better to stay In those limits, because they will give you more happiness in the way they are created
Trying to force another angle of love just complicates things and no one stays happy anymore
