It was fine for zoya to go church and pray (twice btw) but it's shameful if she follows hindu rituals 😆 comments under spoiler clip 🤪

I really don't know but I find it so pathetic. Everyone was fine with Aditya doing iftar and celebrating Eid and no problem with Zoya praying in church but suddenly so much hue and cry about her praying to Durga maa.

Ohh plzz dont talk about those few hypocrite twitter fans🤡. Iam fed up with them🤔. Whenever they come up with irritating religious comments i feel like banging my head on the wall!! I tried explaining them but no use!! The good thing is oly few fans are clinging to such religious issue.

That Christianity and Islam are Abrahamic religions is beyond the point. By making Zoe wear bindi and do these Hindu rituals AFTER marriage, they are portraying as if once you're married you should somehow embrace your husband's religion. THAT is what people are against. This is why they should not have gotten married per Hindu rituals.

Omg people need to chill. Muslim celebs participate in Ganesh Chaturthi and Hindu festivals.
I, a Hindu, participate in Eid celebrations. My Pakistani friends participated in Navratri celebrations. We all celebrate Christmas. I went to a Christian elementary school and every Friday we had to go to mass, I used to get jealous that everyone's parents would come so I made my parents come with me as I couldn't comprehend religion at that age.
Sorry for the rant but the thing I'm so proud of being a South Asian, is that we all celebrate a multitude of cultures and religions. People need to chill tf out! I would say I'm proud of India for it's unity in diversity but truth is the whole South Asian diaspora is welcoming to other cultures, I don't understand fanatics. If you don't like inter religious marriages go watch ridiculous right wing shows that depict polygamous relationships and women as submissive doormats to their husbands. I'm done with religious debate

A show that normalises inter-religious marriage should have taken extra steps to retain Zoe's religious identity. Things like these should be made absolutely clear.

PS: I won't deny a certain faction is bigoted and they've always had problems with Zoya's religion since the beginning.

She accepted prasad from Madhu and what not before. It's navratri so obviously they're going to show Hindu rituals. Bindi is much more of a fashion statement now.
If this show makes it to Ramadan next year I'm sure they would shown Zoya fasting and what not

People also hated Colors' Eid pic because a strand of Zoya's hair was showing & her nails were painted while she was making dua. (Mind you she didn't have time to remove her nail paint because it was while Aditya was in the hospital)
