It had felt like hours Noor and I had been running around trying to find our Abbu. "Noor, lets go home, maybe somehow he has found his way home, its best to check"
Noor nodded, her cheeks tear streaked "Im so sorry Aapi, I should have been more careful"
I wrapped an arm around her shoulders "Its okay Kohinoor, it was an accident, we will find him, okay" as we walked up to the house, I was delighted to see my Abbu sat down outside the house. "Abbu" I ran forward, wrapping my arms around him. "Where did you go, we were so worried for you"
"Excuse me are you Roshana"
I turned to see Yash from before, his face lit up in recognition "Oh no, you're Zoya, I found your father walking aimlessly on the streets looking for Roshana, we eventually found our way back here"
I stood up "Thank you so much Yash, I dont know how I can show just how greatful I am, Roshana is our Ammi, this is Noor my younger sister, please can I invite you in for a drink or something"
Yash shoved his hands into his pocket "Sure, I would love to" he smiled, following us in
I turned quickly to face Noor "Go and give him company, im just going to get Abbu into bed and give him his medication, and make a quick call"
Noor nodded "Sure Aapi, did you meet him at the agency"

"Adi, its me, Zoya, I know our appointment is over, but im in a sticky situation, see the thing is Yash is at my home"
"What, look I cant help you find love if you're going to drop your pants at the first sight of an available man" I heard him curse under his breath
"Excuse me, I did not have sex with him" realising how loudly I was talking I shut the front door behind me "He found my Abbu who went missing, I invited him in for a drink, I was calling to ask what I should do"
"Found your Abbu, is he okay now" I was taken back by his concern
"Uh yes he's fine, thank you for asking" I sighed, my fear for my Abbu still very much with me
"Look Zoya, just be nice, ask questions and be interesting, its that simple" he suggested "Youll know today if there's any attraction there or not"
"Thanks Adi, ill see you in a few days"
"Bye" I looked at my phone as he cut off, gathering my thoughts I returned inside, walked into the living room and faced Yash
"Im really sorry about how we met today, as you can tell im not really dressed appropriately or anything"
Yash smiled "Its okay Zoya, infact its just made me more interested to get to know you, you are just so kind hearted" he smiled, adjusting his glasses
I blushed slightly "Thank you, I look forward to getting to know you to, maybe we can arrange seeing eachother again" I suggested
He laughed "That sounds great, type your number in and ill text you" he stood up
I typed my number in, giving him his phone back and walking him to the door, he gave me a hug, pecking me on the cheek then got back into his car. I was more than excited about where this was going to go, as I shut the door looking down at my watch I realised it was nearly 7pm, I was way to tired to even bother showering till the morning
"Aapi, has he text yet" Noor shouted
"I doubt it, he's only just left" I giggled, then as I patted my pockets for my phone, I realised I had left it with Adi

"Hey, Mahi, im so glad I caught you, I left my phone here" my hands reached the desk seconds after I began to talk in an exasperated rush
"It may be in Sir's office, just go straight through" she smiled
I walked up the chilly hallway, pushing the door open only to see Adi sat with a glass of rum beside him "Come in" he smiled
I frowned "Uh hey, I just came to get my phone"
"Sit for a bit" he beckoned me forward so I did as he said, I reached out grabbing my phone then sitting back
"Was there something you wanted to talk about" I raised a brow, quite sure he was drunk or atleast on the way
"I want to speak about many things, but many things do not want to be spoken about"
"What" I frowned "Adi, are you okay"
He looked up slowly, chuckling, his eyes were full of tears "No, not really Zoya"
"Would you like to talk about it" I reached over, grabbing his hand
"Its just what it is, talking wont lessen my pain, I loved a girl once, she loved me to, I was going to ask her to marry me, but she" he laughed "Its perfect fate, as soon as I bought the ring, she got hit by a car, died on scene, still to this day I dont know who did it"
"But that doesn't mean you stop believing in love, not everyone you love will get taken away from you" my breath hitched in my chest at the sad way he looked up at me
"When the police gave me her stuff, I found messages on her phone, ones that were under the name of her best friend, declaring how much she loved him, she was going to leave me for him, I asked all her friends and family members, no one told me anything, and now I am left here alone, still waiting for closure for something I didnt even realise was happening, now if that isnt pain, then what is" he threw his head back, downing his drink quickly
"Im so sorry" my eyes filled with tears as I looked on at him "I may never be able to understand your pain, but you must know that not every woman is like her, there is love out there for you, not every woman will break your heart, is that why you do this business, are you trying to stop others from heartbreak"
He nodded "Something like that, I guess I'm telling you because the pain in my eyes, I see it in yours to, you didnt get closure about something to" his eyes searched mine as he stood up, I did to grabbing him as he fell into me. "Ill make you a deal Zzzoya"
"What deal" I whispered, trying to keep him stood up
"If you can find love, then I will look to, because you" he bopped my nose "are just as broken as me"
Although afraid to ask, I had to "And what if I dont, then what happens to you"
He smiled "Have I ever told you that you're beautiful" with that last phrase that left me blushing, he passed out
