I let out a hmphh sound as I dropped Adi onto the bed, his eyes opened
"Oh hey, trying to get me into bed already" he chuckled, his voice was hoarse from the crying
I tutted, shaking my head as I pulled off his shoes "Be quiet, my Abbu is asleep"
"We're at your house, wasn't that quick I didn't even get a chance to woo you" he giggled
"I'm charmed" I pulled up the blanket "There's water and asprin next to the bed, take it now"
He wiggled his brows "Feed me" he sat up, opening his mouth
I dropped the pills into his mouth, giving him some water "Goodnight Adi"
"Night Soya" he closed his eyes, snoring in seconds I shut the door from behind me
"Thank you Noor"
She wiggled her brows "Cute isn't he" she jiggled her arms, doing a little dance
"No, he's the man helping me find a match, he isn't my match now please lets sleep" I shoved her into her room as she laughed

I awoke the next morning with Noor's arm on my chest, her leg over mine, I shoved her away, getting out of bed my back cracked painfully "Abbu" I called, he always got up a lot earlier than me. I looked into the living room to see he wasn't there, I knocked on the bathroom door "Abbu" I slid it open slightly my heart now racing "Noor, Noor"
Noor ran towards me "Kya Aapi"
"Abbu, I can't find him" I felt the tears well in my eyes as I opened his bedroom door to see he wasn't there either.
The front door opened and in walked Adi with Abbu. "Sorry" Adi shoved his hands into his pockets "I wanted to change and he asked to come with me"
"Abbu" I cried, wrapping my arms around him, I watched as he turned to Adi
"I like him, he will be good for Zoya huh Roshana" I grimaced, looking down quickly
Adi didn't seem to mind, his eyes met mine as he spoke "Steady Uncle, I don't think she likes me just yet"
"I'm a father, I know, I do, see the thing about Zoya is"
"Abbu" I cut him off "Coffee" I allowed Noor to take him into the living room then turned back to Adi "Thank you for"
He shook his head "Don't mention it, sorry about last night, but go and get ready, we need to prepare you for the date" he smiled and I couldn't help but blush, it was always an attractive trait when someone didn't treat my Abbu like he was crazy and past short term boyfriends had never been able to treat him right

"So, where are we going" I placed my hands in my lap, literally twiddling my thumbs as I watched him drive
"You have a date I believe, so we're going shopping" his toned arms clenched everytime he span the steering wheel
"Oh, uh okay, I didn't know that was in the package deal"
He cleared his throat "Every client has different needs, i'm going full out with you, look about last night, I didnt mean to put all that on you" his eyes remained on the road
"It's okay, I think you needed to offload, but really" I reached out a hand then pulled it back making him look at me confused "You have to allow yourself to love" I felt my body jolt forward as he pushed down the brakes
"Look I really" his eyes widened "Zoya, are you crying"
My chest tightened, tears blurring my vision, my hands shaking "I, I" I yanked at the door trying to open it but I couldn't, in seconds Adi had jumped out and opened the door for me, I toppled out of it and into his arms. "Ammi" I sobbed
"Hey, Zoya" Adi's voice was soothing as he pulled me back to face him "Its okay, just breathe, what's wrong, come on deep breath, with me"
I gripped his arms tightly as I took deep breaths, his chocolate orbs full of concern "Sorry, I just hate sudden halts, my Ammi, she died in a car crash"
Adi looked remorseful "I'm so sorry Zoya, I shouldn't have stopped the car like that, lets just walk the rest of the way okay"
I nodded, sitting on the wall as he went to park the car.

We arrived promptly at the outlet centre, yet I was still unable to look at Adi. My head was filled with that fateful day, I Noor, Abbu and Ammi had been sitting in the car when a woman stepped into the road, another car came jolting her way so fast it hit her then slammed into the passenger door. Ammi and the woman had died on scene, I had never found out who did it or why, they had managed to get away beforehand.
Adi rested a hand on my lower waist "Just in here Zoya" his tone was low, his hand gentle as if he was worried I would break, in all honesty I was worried about the same
"So for a first date, what kind of thing" I tried to push the accident to the back of my mind, just wanting to focus upon the task at hand
Adi's eyes skimmed the shop, he walked over to a red dress, lacey flowers covered the top half of the dress, the bottom was slightly poofy covered in a thin darker ruby red veil "This"
Well he had good taste that was for sure, I reached out for it "Thanks, i'll try it on" I walked towards the dressing room, looking back at him he smiled at me. For once I had showed someone a side of me I never showed to anyone, albeit accidentally I somehow now shared a strange bond with him that I never expected to have
Adi looked up as I walked back out, his jaw slightly dropped "Wow" he coughed "You look, beautiful" he breathed
"So a good dress then" I smiled
"A great one" he agreed "Come on lady, hurry, we have one more task to do" his eyes were hypnotising as he smiled
I hurried, changing quickly I payed for the dress then followed him out the shop towards an ice cream store, he picked out what I was having then handed a bowl to me
"In all honesty I just needed an excuse" I enjoyed being around him when he was like this- laid back and care free
"I never need an excuse for ice cream" I replied, eating some, when I looked back up the normal light brown in his eyes had dissapeared, now suddenly a dark soil type colour as he reached forward, swiping my chin with his thumb
I swallowed as he lifted his thumb to his mouth "You know vanilla was never really my kind of thing, until now" he eyed me carefully "Ill let you use that on your date"
"W-w-what" I stuttered
"The flirting thing I just did, were you even paying attention" Adi's brows furrowed as he leant forward
"Yes" I replied, the issue was I was paying a little to much attention
So I am off on holiday tomorrow for a week, so there will be no updates until I would say Wednesday the 22nd of August, I know that's a major wait, but if I have time beforehand I will definitely update, I have updated everything so that you wont have to wait for ages!
