Hi there,
I just wanted to say that I'm totally enjoying this show, the characters and all the pending mysteries that need to be unravelled.
I'm from Canada and don't speak Hindi so am thrilled that YuppTV has the English subtitles for me to watch it. Plus the show airs the same day here as it does in India, although many hours difference with the time change but am happy to be able to to watch it the same day and be able to read the forum!
Well thought out, Sumi. I agree with what you wrote and it's clear that he wants Zoya to wake up to the reality that her husband was cheating on her and like he previously said, his hatred is stronger than his love, so I think he also wants her to hate Yash as much as he hates Pooja. Misery loves company for sure. When you're feeling that betrayed and miserable, you don't want others around you feeling all happy and cheerful, looking at life through rose coloured glasses as she has been doing. He wants to wipe the whole delusion of her perfect Yash from her life and cause her pain because he is in pain.
In his anger, he has blamed Zoya for this affair even though she wasn't at fault. But do you notice that in real life if a woman learns her husband or boyfriend has cheated on her, she will automatically blame the other woman and vice versa if a man learns that his wife or girlfriend has been cheating on him, he blames the other man and is ready to kill him! Why do they blame the "other woman" or the "other man" for the affair when it was their spouse / or partner that cheated on them? Because the truth would mean their spouse didn't love them and that's harder to accept than the actual affair which I think Zoya is feeling.
Adi obviously has a conscience in the deeps of his anger because he quickly reacted when Noor called him. Although I didn't think that Noor's call to Adi was that alarming when she said that her sister wasn't opening the door but Adi's reaction was more like Noor had just told him that Zoya was going to jump off a building or something. Did anyone else feel like he was overreacting to Noor's call? Or maybe it was just his true colours showing that he does care. He didn't think about it, he just reacted.
I think now that Zoya has accepted that her husband cheated on her and wanted a divorce, and she has literally hit rock bottom, she will now become a stronger person and stand on her own (with Adi's help!!) I think their friendship will grow more as the secrets and mysteries become unveiled and they will become a united front because we know that there's more going on in the background. Even Pooja's mother is hiding something because she was shown paying some mysterious person money, so what's that about? We have some questionable characters out there with Pooja's mother, Adi's father, Zoya's father, the police that are investigating Adi, Nahi ... any others?
Well whatever the secrets are, we know it will eventually bring Adi and Zoya together.
