The problem is the language. Nothing else. šŸ˜†

People don't see beyond the quotes.

Actually I used to think that but I think by clean they mean to have cleanliness in general because if a non-muslim would want to read it they may not know that they need to do wudu, they would think washing hands is sufficient. Yes you should try to have wudu when reading it but I don't think it is a hard and fast rule.

My beautiful sisters all this would only apply if he was reading it in Arabic and as shown to us earlier the Quraan Shareef that Aliya has is the one in Arabic..didn't they show that to us?

ofcourse I know wudu is not needed if it's not in Arabic.. did you guys read everything we discussed here? we mentioned the school of thoughts too and I said I was trying to understand what they're trying to show because according to me Osman's and Aliya are sunni-Hanafi in which it is obligatory to perform Wudu before touching the Quraan Shareef.. Purity means Taharat and Taharat means being clean which in turn means performing Wudu which is what I have deciphered from these Hadiths.. I had always performed Wudu as a kid and as an adult before touching the Quraan or a single Siparaah.. You need to be pure and clean and have your wudu to especially "READ" Quraan or it's verses ie the Siparaah..

now please don't tell me if it's fine to "Read" Arabic Quraan without performing Wudu.. it's not..atleast not in my school of thought..

EDIT: whoever says washing hands is sufficient he didn't wash his hands either he had that Barkat Villa file which came from the room ofthe Don which was filled with Alcohol bottles.. and then it went to zain and then to Alia and then to Fahad.. he was simply dirty

I know what I'm saying I'm not just saying for the heck of it..šŸ˜•

And I agree with Jake it all comes to the language at the end.. if it wasn't in Arabic they're totally fine but as long as I feel the way the put the scene across it came like it was the real Arabic Quraan and not a translation..

Only Allah knows whats best.

Someone who committed a murder is he pure? but can he not read the Quraan if he wants? Ofcourse he can.. Wudu is purity it says like the angels.. Angels are always physically pure.. because you are physically touching it.. I'm pretty sure you need to be physically pure.. and Yes Allah knows the best..

^ Thats what I said I'm trying to think.. what are they.. they aren't Shiaa.. are they? Hanbali and Maliki aren't common in India-Pakistan

Probably I should change the title to "you just cannot read Quraan" without wudu.. he read it too if you guys are missing on that..

I gave the Hadith's on page 1..

But tell me something, if tomorrow somebody tells you that they don't have water to do Wadu in order to read Namaaz/Quran - Will you stop them from reading both? Niyat (of Wadu) is acceptable.

I'm pretty sure if there was a scholar on this Forum he'll agree.

In that case you are suppose to do Tayammum, dry ablution using sand or dust, which may be performed in place of ritual washing if no water is available

Hanafi's are most common I think, but then again they keep playing that Ali Maula, so they could be Shia, lol. And plus the fact that she prays Namaaz at a different time, I heard Shia's have different Namaaz timings.

About the hadith, by 'pure' it might just mean that you can't touch the Quran when you are in an impure state such as that time of the month.šŸ˜›

I don't know about that, to be honest. Have seen people performing imaginary wudu (intention). #NotSure

She is right, if you don't have water then you do it with sand/mud and if you don't have that either then you can do it against a wall.
